Tango and Scarfie - I did my best - and really - those bubbles came awfully close if Ms. F. had put a few more strokes in them to fool the eye!

fritillary - I am truly envious of this VeE silk - I passed two times on this identical colorway due to limited funds or pursuits, and now wish it was in my collection! Love this on you.

LTC - OMG - the Kimonos is stunning! What a gorgeous colorway and unique find! Now I have a new grail dear!

And speaking of grails - I am really keen on La Vie's gorgeous VeE GM in this colorway for spring! I wonder if these colors were available in the Au Fil du Carre GM? Beautiful photos dear!

In the meantime, I was panicking thinking that perhaps my La Charmante gavroche did not have the little guy, but there he is in the lower center section, after searching a good five minutes. There will be an encore performance of this pochette for our next theme week, Double your Pleasure.

WOW! This is perfection. I love how the orange is mostly in the knot, and that you've paired this with an equally intense orange top!! I wanted one of those gavroches, hmm, my Annie Faivre wishlist is growing as the week goes by!

You know, I do think everyone needs 1 gold and 1 silver Tresors, like having two sets of jewelry, silver and yellow gold!! :D

Euridice, I love the way you think! I will quote you on "everyone needs one gold and one silver Tresors" to my husband. It makes perfect sense to me! (I already have TR 05, so now I want your blue/gold one and scarf addict's pink/gold!!! (Truth be told!):D

I love these colors, lanit! The happy orange and charcoal are fabulous! You look great!

I'm sure I'm not the first person to make this connection, but on further reflection, I can't help but see Wilma Flintstone's "pearl" necklace in my silver Reve de Corail LOL :D

Yabba dabba doo!!!!!!

TangoTosca, You are the cutest thing ever! Thank you for the chuckle!

Thank you everybody for the GF pochette love. I am a little miss matchy-matchy, so I am pleased that you all liked the look.:D

TangoTosca, The lime green art with black bird was a newly purchased piece from the Bayou City Art Festival. So glad you like it, and yes, even my art can be matchy-matchy with my scarves. 'Twas planned.

I dunno, Lanit. I think your eyes may be playing tricks on you. I think I may have to side with Scarf Addict here... I'm just not convinced there *is* a monkey in Grands Fonds.

Monkey or no monkey, however, Grands Fonds is an Annie Faivre classic, and it lends beauty to all who wears it: Lanit's scarf, Bienchen's shawl, Ladybaga's pochette, and Sushi Queen's bangle!

Wearing mine today in an attempt to "ape" Hair-mess. I think I need to go back and review her instructions... her's wasn't as a long as mine turn out to be.

I love this colorway! Very beautiful scarf and I love the drapey (even though there is no apey) effect.

frittilaryb

that is a very pretty colorway of Voyage. Here's my GM of it, also from the archives since it is too hot here to wear this today!

la Vie, This is swoon worthy! Absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for sharing! I remember when this shawl came out in 2009. I saw it in a black colorway that was beautiful, too. I remember being torn between that one and the light pink Kachinas. As my first shawl, I purchased the Kachinas for sentimental reasons. I love the Kachinas, but still can't get the black Voyage out of my mind. :smile1:

Here is my Voyage en Etoffes. One of my absolute favorite scarves. Complete with monkey. This is from the archives because I posted it a few months ago. I guess I should have posted this for the transition between red and Annie weeks.

fritillaryB, WOW! Your Voyage en Etoffes silk is magical! Lovely pops of color against the white. Thanks for sharing!

I haven't taken an action pic, but here's my favourite Annie Faivre scarf "Kimono et Inros".:

Thanks for letting me share. Off to see if I can find a little monkey...

Special thanks to beautiful Tango Tosca for being a wealth of knowledge.

I love the fans on the corners! This design is beautiful! I love how the kimonos gather in the middle to form a circle! I would love to see how this one ties.
Thank you for sharing this design and if you get a chance, I'd love to see it modeled!:smile1:

Euridice, Lanit, Bienchen, Ladybaga, Tango
Thank you ! Im honored.

Pegase - Whoa, Mare aux Cannards isn't one you see every day. Thank you so much for sharing! And I so enjoy Stravinsky's music. I hope to see the ballet live one day. But I imagine this is true for a lot of people - I can never listen to The Rite of Spring without thinking of the dinosaurs in Walt Disney's Fantasia :D.

I had completely forgotten about the dinosaurs! lol
I did however saw a performance of a modern dance company that was just thrilling! the pictures are still in my head! (here a small picture)

Tango,
I am so happy to be cousins with you on this scarf. We do indeed seem to have similar taste, although I think that you have a more extensive collection then I do. I love the intensity of your Aux Pays des Epices and it seems perfect for the chilly peppers!. Mine is neutral and shows off the taupe of the nutmeg and star anise. Here is a modeling pic from the archives. I think of this as my MaiTai scarf because I was devouring her blog daily when she was wearing/modeling this scarf often and I thought it was one of the most elegant things I had ever seen. I think in any colorway this is a winner because it ties so brilliantly!

Second cousin to each of you, Fritillary and Tango on Aux Pays des Epices. This black is defintely the Tex-Mex version...LOL!

Lanit...this is a really stunning, classy combination, the orange and grey. And the way you've put it together, perfection. I like the turned up sleeves, btw. Another of the little touches that make the look.
