Everyone looks just gorgeous as always! I am catching up on this thread and there is so much I missed! Welcome MrsH!
Rose & Rileygirl, love, love, love the Please Check In! I need this one...it is calling to me...:sweatdrop: ;)

rileygirl, gracekelly, mavsun, Diva999, lilyhermes, crochetbella & Bijouxlady ~ thank you

MrsHarris, welcome to this forum and congratulations on your xmas scarf. Here is a thread you might want to check:

rileygirl
, you look fabulous and so does your scarf!! Happy to see you are giving the horn a break..As everyone else said, mousses are incredibly versatile ~ you can wear them in all seasons too.

gracekelly, I think I'd pass on the Queen of France :p They somehow all ended up feeling a cold blade at their neck... better stick to the silk!!
Rose, I'll join you in the wait for the Astrologie..

rileygirl, lilyhermes & Bijouxlady ^ you are right, it has been very special - the location spectacular, the company fun and the food divine. About time too, the last two years I went to bed at 11:00 PM

Raz ~ they have all vanished from H.com, hope you can still get one. I looked at the Magic thread recently too and now I want another CW!:hrmm::laugh:

MaiTai, I know I looked at H.com today, just to drool, all gone :crybaby:
I wish it was a 70cm, the decision would be simple, i keep talking myself out of it, because I made a promise to myself not to buy anymore 90cms!
oh you seriously have to double up and get another CW.
Then you can post more pics, and I can drool some more!
I loved your New Years pics, such a luxury to be able to eat outdoors in Winter, especially in such a beautiful location.

^The Hola Flamenca is a great design! It is an older one, but maybe they had extra in stock? I purchased my red/blue one back in December 2006 while in Germany and it has sinced moved to another owner. I was too scared to use it cuz it was so pretty!

However, I"m really looking into framing some H scarves in my home :)
I've been working with it all morning but the scarves just don't work for me.....that is why I just do the cash wraps & the mousse's. Even though it is an older one it may have to go back. I don't want it to just sit in the box and never get used. Now if they would do this one in a wrap, I'd get several in different colorways!!

thank you to all you sweet people for complimenting me/my first plisse. i apologize for not following decorum to check in more regularly and thank and compliment you too. truth is, i am a slow convert to scarves and spend time regularly on several other H threads. well i do love to come here for inspiration too. hope to possibly buy my first GM cashmere/silk shawl soon and then i'll really need to study up here. thank you again for being such a kind and friendly bunch! :tender:

Raz

Bijouxlady, in France it's about 40 Euros and takes approx. 6 weeks. I seem to remember someone saying that in the US it's about 100 Dollars and takes two months. Maybe someone can verify? Oh yes, and it does come back in that cute 'miniature hat box'.

LailaT ~ it's lovely to have you popping by occasionally. Slow convert ~ yay!!

A-T-G, have a lovely day!

RileyGirl - The mousseline's are wonderful! Light and 'floaty". They are actually rather sturdy.

Well, here is my story: my kitten at the time, jumped up to grab the floating edge of the mousseline GM just as I took it out of the box to try it on. I don't think he extended his little claws, but I did feel the weight and the pull! I was worried, but nothing! No holes, no sags. So either the mousseline is sturdier than I thought, or my kitten was very good that day.

BijouxLady - that Flamenca scarf must be lovely! Let us know what you decided if you are goign to turn it into a plissé.

Okay Rose and MaiTai - I'd like to join the line up to wait for a possible olive toned Astrologie in a 90 cm!

Raz and CB, thank you

Raz I am surprised to hear that none of the 70 cm are calling your name (yet, lol), have you seen the Crown?

CB Congrats on your new Kelly, I am so very happy for you!:heart:

Andee I love that Dita look.... almost rushed out and got an animal print scarf but managed to slap myself into reality (I am not Dita, Victoria B... or any other fabulous celebrity but............ NJ mommy!).

A-T-G busy morning for me too (kids first day back at school after Christmas!), threw on a plisse... Naissance D'une Idee

Rose, I have not seen the Crown either, but would love too!
Your Plissé is stunning, particularly beautiful with your gorgeous black hair and your crisp white shirt!!

MiaT, looks as we are going to have quite a party! Anyone else joining in?
