Aminie, I love the Kimonos design, too. It was my second scarf, found used on ebay. It's funny, because while it isn't my favorite (i.e., most beautiful scarf), it's the one I wear the most. Everything I own looks great with it, as the design is filled with various colors. Depending on which bias I fold it, it looks very different with different color accents. I fell for it because I researched Kimonos as part of my Master's thesis. I couldn't imagine not having it.

dogbiskit--thanks! It's a design based on one of the fountains in Versailles. The Baroque/Rococo-fiend in me went nuts when I saw it.

aminie--yes, don't that scarf ring description just make you drool?

xiaoxiao--thank you for the "IS"! Kimonos is such a darling. Because she is old and handwashed, she is also very soft, which allows me to easily use her in my hair. I can only hope my other scarves stand the test of time as well as her.

BLB and Purse-o-holic--you're making me blush, such beautiful compliments. And my scarf blushes, too. Thank goodness for ebay and collectors. To think that it was languishing in someone's closet in a box for years and years--quelle horror!

Rose and MaiTai and everyone, thanks for being so welcoming! And for sharing your scarves. Rose, your pictures of mousseline scarves finally sent me over the edge. I just received one in the Amours design! :heart::heart: I can't wait to break it out, I think on Christmas Eve.
