Maybe it's just me but black looks horrendous on me! lol It depends on what your DF wants and what he likes. My DF is notorious for having the crazy colored orange and yellow brights. The milgaus just screamed something he would wear! His other watch has an orange face and the other has a pink face (it was a gift from an ex).

And HECK YEA for the price it better be something he wears all the time! I'm scared I'm going to buy it for him and he never wear it. Just like he would be livid if i didn't wear my engagement ring like some other girls we know.

Milgauss isn't toooo crazy - the orange lightning bolt second hand is the only crazy thing about it!!

But yes, I agree that you should make sure it's something your DF would love! I was all planned and ready to get mine the Milgauss until he mentioned that he wanted a date!! That kinda ruined my amazing plan!

Hi! I am needing help in choosing which Rolex to get. Am looking for something classic. I want to wear it as an everyday watch as well.

I currently have the Rolex Men's Oyster Perpetual Submariner

And the Rolex Datejust Ladies Oyster (two tone with diamonds)

I tried the men's size here, but I have decided that
I want to get the mid size. Just wanted to show the
Rhodium face.

I definitely want the midsize. Just not sure which face and bracelet to get.
The price of the Jubilee is definitely higher, but pricing is not an object here.
Which bracelet do you think looks nicer? I know that the Stainless would
show scratches easily compare to the Jubilee but would it look nicer?

i prefer the white face since the roman numerals stand out more.

since you're looking for something everyday, i like the oyster bracelet with the smooth bezel...especially since your diamond datejust has the fluted bezel.

Definitely white dial roman domed bezel oyster bracelet as you already have the datejust in fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet.

Also go for the mid size than men's size since you have the submariner and I assume the two tone datejust is ladies size.

It depends if you want your everyday watch to be a little more sporty and causal or one bracelet/bezel style over the other. You can't go wrong either way. I prefer the the jubilee, fluted and I think I prefer romans on a white dial.

I voted #1! I have the same (midsize, oyster band) except with stick markers instead of roman numerals. Love the crisp, white dial.

I have #4 and I bought it for everyday wear. It is a mid-size, jubilee and fluted rhodium Roman. Personally, I prefer jubilee band because scratches don't show up as much. I love #4 but you can't go wrong with any of them.

Thanks for being the 1st to reply. We have the same thinking. The white face would definitely make the Roman numerals stand out which is one of the reasons why I'm attracted to it.

Thanks for suggesting other styles. I might consider the 36mm but i would probably stick to the Roman embossed style. Am very much liking this.

Yes you are right, the midsize is what I do not have at the moment.
Do you think the domed bezel is too plain or boring in any way? Or do you find it uncluttered and elegant in it's simplicity?
