I think they are both beautiful. A little big for my taste but both gorgeous. I think the flower is unique and very attractive.

Love the first one!!!

I prefer the first ring too, the cabochon looks nicer to me.
Nice matching set, MyDogTink.

Thanks for your suggestions! I'm definitely leaning towards the cabochon, I think the setting is special too.

The flower is definitely unique and peony is my favorite flower. The translucency and coloring would also match a jadeite bangle I have. But I feel like the size may overtake my hand.

Those are two totally different looks!

The first ring with the diamonds is a -- wowza!!! BOOM!! ring. It is more formal and it really demands attention. The color of the stone is beautiful.

The carved ring is a little bit of a let down after seeing the first ring, as the color of the stone isn't popping as well -- but the more I see of the 2nd ring the more I like it. I like the detail of the ring itself, with the vines, and the 2nd ring is more modern and young feeling.

I think with ring #2, I get the feeling that you'd need to be more careful not to knock it on things, because it is big.

It really depends on what suits your personality best. I think the first is more classic and will age better with you.

If you want something more modern, maybe keep looking? Don't buy if you're not feeling great about it.

I agree with the seller's take that the peony ring is a conversation while the cabochon is a more classic but still beautiful piece. I think I am hung on the uniqueness but the current size is prone to inadvertent banging and chipping.

I definitely agree with you that the cabochon ring is timeless and won't go out of style. The sparkle also definitely speaks to me!
