I bought several LV vernis bags and all light colored ones eventuallt changed color. I take
good care of my bags and keep them in a cool dry place. But still, this happened. The darker color vernis is holding up much better. Lesson learned: i will nevee buy vernis again.

We all have had it happen - you spend a good amount of money on a bag and then it starts to fall apart. The leather cracks, the stitches come out, the hardware starts to fall apart.

Which of your bags have you had the most issues with!?
Prada bowler bag. The handle came out from it's "socket". Even after having it repaired at the boutique if I put anything heavier than a wallet in there I can feel the handle coming undone

I have a MJ stam that is difficult to open. I have to navigate the opening process by holding the bag underneath with one hand to take the weight off of the bag, and then the kiss lock will work.

LV VERNIS

When older LV vernis changed color. My baby blue turned green. My beige turned yellow. Im glad the new ones are doing great. [emoji4] my red and violet are still the same color.

I don't think there is a worse bag to get in and out of than the Gucci Babouska Top Handle briefcase. And knowing this after I bought the crystal one, I go ahead and buy another one in leather. Love the look but I have NEVER EVER used either one. They are still brand new in their dustbag taking up precious closet space but I don't dare sell them because I know I will use them someday. Pretty silly, can't bare to use them without getting completely frustrated but can't bare to see them go either. Now THAT is what I call a true obsessed crazy bag woman and yes, that would be me. (Duhhhh....) BABOUSKA CRYSTAL.jpg gucci babouska bluefly.jpg

What makes this bag the worse bag ever?
To Netter:
Oh, I don't think it's the worst bag ever, just the worst bag ever to get in and out of. In order to open the bag you have to open the lock on the belt and manuever the belt out of the three loops and it is a super tight fit...okay, you're there, it's open, you get what you need to get. Then you must close the bag by putting the belt back in the three loops which is no easy task. It is such a tight fit that you must have the belt perfectly centered in order to get it through the loop...x that three times then you have to lock the belt like you would any other belt and by then you have just taken about 2-3 minutes just getting in and out of the bag. If you are on the go or in your car driving there is no way you're going to get in that bag, you must sit down and work it and be prepared for the task. I believe that is why it really should be used as a work bag or briefcase where you don't have to get into it all day long. I still love them both and am not ready to part with them which is pretty silly considering I have never used either one.

They look and sound like work/office brief cases, where in the past we use to see combo locks on brief cases. In this "case" instead of a combo lock for security, we have the belt with loops to contend with. So, I agree that this is a serious brief case as oppose to a hand bag as such (imho of course).

Is there a way to remove the belt or just leave it unlocked?

You know, you may have something there. I tried it and it does make it a little less time consuming. It does stay closed without the belt due to the slots being such a tight fit. Without the belt I have to take the flap out of the slots one by one and after doing that I have to pull the flap over the large rings one by one because they do not go over on their own. Then the bag is open. I'm attaching a photo so you can see what I'm trying to say (I know I'm not explaining it very well). It is still a lot to do but without the belt it really makes a world of difference. Hey, you're pretty good there, Sonmi999!!! You get a star for the day!!!!! :smartass::smartass::smartass:
