Which make-up counters/stores are good about giving out samples?

For online shopping, I always get a cool packet of samples from beautysak.com. Facial Cleansers, hair treatments, the whole works.

Clinique always gives great samples to me! Everytime I go there, the SA's give me 2 or 3 samples.

I don't get any samples unless it is with gift with purchase. The SAs @ my malls are really stingy. They only gives sample if you buy 100+. I bought face creme for my mom @ 150 dollars and they didn't give me any samples until I asked and sometimes they say they don't have any!

You can just tell some SAs are snooty and I feel weird asking for them samples.

Anytime I buy makeup I always ask for samples. I tell them that that is how I try stuff and I usually end up buying it. Unless someone is just cold-hearted, they won't give you anything. I have never been turned down at any counter: Dior, Chanel, Lancome, MAC, Kiehl's, Bobbie Brown.

I live in the Uk and have always found Clarins to be great. Think Bobbi Brown are really good aswell - also find clinque and dior are good
