Is that new model Epi Speedy 25 a bandolier crossbody bag? I'm sorry to hear it doesn't work for you. I have Speedy in classic and bs 25 & 30 (and nano), I use both my 25 & 30, if I'm not carrying my ipad, then I use 25. interestingly it's difficult for me to go smaller because I prefer to carry my large wallet, 25 fits everything I need (but the ipad). So what bags are you using mostly now, just curious and love to learn from you
Hi, yes it's the 2017 Speedy 25 bandolier in epi. I now mostly use the Hermes Evelyne PM, the LV Odeon PM and I just put the LV Discovery BB into rotation. It's a mens crossbody, picture below. I like my crossbody bags to hug me I guess is the best way to put it. And an outside phone pocket is pretty much a necessity too.Is that new model Epi Speedy 25 a bandolier crossbody bag? Thank you for your very informative answer, interestingly I have Evelyne PM and had Odeon PM & MM too, so I totally get what you said you like crossbody bag hug close to body. I have DE, Mono & epi bags, I certainly get what you said the lovely honey patina on mono bags, they are the most beautiful color combination on LV bags in my opinion, but it requires a lot of extra care such as I have to watch out weather and don't even put lotion on my hands when I wear mono (& azur) bags to maintain that clean beautiful color and I also totally agree with you with outside zipper that can put phone in for quick access is a great plus! The discovery messenger bb looks a very lovely and care free bag and I like the zipper closure for security, the outside zipper looks interesting too, please keep us updated how do you like it if you ends up purchasing itHi, yes it's the 2017 Speedy 25 bandolier in epi. In 2016 I saw the most lovely classic monogram Speedy 25. It made me fall back in love with LV. Her bag was lovingly used and worn in perfectly. The vachetta leather was a warm honey color. I lusted for one but every time I tried a canvas Speedy on in the store it just didn't work for me. But when the noir Epi B was released I thought it looked so sophisticated and I loved that it had a strap. I kinda bought it without thinking about it too much. Plus it didn't help that 2 LV YouTubers (that I watched regularly) had come in, saw me modeling it and they told me it looked great

kinda agree, it's weird and not confortable to wear, it was super popular in 2016, 2017 & 2018, I think it's dying down now

Congrats on your new purchase, there is no one perfect bag it only matters if it works for you or / and you love it, the leather version has a top handle will make it easier to use (canvas version can get a third party short strap to make it top handle too), enjoy your new bag, and it is a beautiful bag.

Oh sorry if I wasn't clear, I did purchase the Discovery Messenger last year and just started using it. The outside zipper closure is perfect for my iPhone.
