Which is your absolute favourite Chanel bag in your collection and why?

My old classic m/l flap in black caviar. I bought it 19 years ago and it’s still going strong, and it fits my LV Sarah wallet, keys, tissues, lipstick. I just used it again a few days ago for a fancy lunch reception and so glad I kept it.

I had the hardest time choosing between RHW and GHW on the reissue as well... but as 'luck' would have it, by the time I was ready to purchase, only RHW was left.

I don't regret it because like you said, it's much easier to wear; but every now and then I am tempted to add a GHW or think, GHW just seems so much more 'wow' and quintessential Chanel

It really is a dilemma! I bought the GHW as my first reissue because I was beyond obsessed with it, I also wear A LOT of black and gold accessories and jewellery so it was a no brainer for me at the time. However, I simply could not get the idea of a RHW out of my head, it took me another 2 years before I bough the RHW reissue but I am so glad I did!

Reissue 226 aged black leather with ruthenium hardware. It is lightweight, holds plenty, chains are gorgeous, classic and edgy! LOVE it so much!

I have a made a couple of purchases in recent years, but I think my first purchase with a camera bag is still my absolute favourite, mainly due to its practicality, good size, caviar leather, black, i really have no complain on it and it will definitely stay until death do us part ;P

It definitely is ,I don’t baby it at all ,but maybe because Its from older Chanel when it was more robust and better leather .Not sure but it's from 2008 .

I love how versatile it is with the black hardware and it’s so easy to be dressed up or down.

first I bought the black 225 with ghw and a few months later I purchased a navy 226 with rhw from fashionphile. I love both equally and I find both easy to wear. I say get both. I’m tempted to add a black with rhw but I think dark navy is very close to black so I won’t. Both the aged gold hardware and ruthenium chains are gorgeous
