Which is best for everyday? Red Caviar Med Boy or Blk Caviar Jumbo Dbl Flap?

You'll never go wrong with a black jumbo for everyday over a red boy. A red boy is beautiful, though.

There is always a black classic but never always a regular caviar boy and in gorgeous red! I would go for boy, it's the perfect size too.

To stand through time (and heavy daily use), I would go with the black caviar double flap G/H...it's a true classic piece

I personally prefer Classic Jumbo for everyday. The boy is a bit structure and it doesn't fit as much as the Jumbo does. I wanted to purchase the boy flap before, but after tried them on and compare them side by side. I decide not to own a boy for now. The small boy doesn't fit as much as the Classic Mini, and the medium doesn't fit as much as the Jumbo Classic. So I probably will wait until they have new version or new size for me to add a boy into my collection. Good luck!

New medium boy fits as much as jumbo but old medium doesn't fit much.

Red caviar boy is seasonal so you should get one if you only want red caviar.

I was faced with the same dilemma and it made sense to go forward with the classic black. You can always go back later on for the boy. I know I will!

Totally agree! I cannot seem to pull the trigger on a boy. I love them but something keeps holding me back. The black jumbo with GHW is a must have IMHO. It was my first chanel and it is still my favorite.

Black classic jumbo is an iconic bag. I'd go with that one.

So true, Bagsbagsbaby! I think initially I was hesitant about the classic flap because it screams Chanel. Now that's one of the things I like best about it!

shinegal, you're the first to speak out in support of the boy. Do you have both? I do love red caviar, but I'm a little worried about color transfer, and these other lovely TPF ladies have made a convincing argument for the jumbo classic. Thanks for the input
