I started to watch
geek is chic/Evelyn due the recommendations here. Yes she does have favorite brands but her content is high-quality, so I still find value from her. (Thank you, TPFers

)
Cassie, I've been watching for longer and I just adore her. She's witty, fun, and has a more unique style that comes across as authentic, i.e. not just following the repetitive things from almost every other luxury influencer. Honestly, if I just need a cheerful, short distraction I look to see what new videos she has up. Somehow her love of her LV Multi-Pochette (which was one of the most gimmicky influencer-based marketing operations I think I've seen) comes across as genuine because it actually suits the rest of her aesthetic...what she calls "Lara Croft" fantasies. LOL! She is
probably paid at this point, but it's not like I'm running out the door to buy whatever she buys.
Kat L is also extremely warm and funny.
Last but not least,
FashionablyAMY does really great reviews of her likes/dislikes. She
has started to include sponsored products/companies, but she discloses them, and they don't reduce the value (to me) of her thorough pros/cons list for the things she owns or has owned.

:
I do not follow influencers/recommendations from people who have 5+ different versions of the same thing and present themselves as an expert that considered a range of products. Like 5+ cardholders that all function almost the same and hold ~4-6 cards only (like, why?) instead of having a range of sizes/capacities...and then label the video BEST CARDHOLDERS EVERRRR WATCH MY VIDEO BEFORE SHOPPING. Like hello, you didn't even cover the other formats that are out there? Or like THE BEST CROSSBODY BAGS and they're all the same style. Pass.
I also don't follow people who buy and resell constantly, i.e. have a high turnover. They can't seem to inform themselves of what they like, so how can they effectively present pros/cons? One month it's "I LOVE THIS it's a permanent KEEPER you should run out and buy too!!!!" And then the next month it's "I didn't like it anymore so I sold it." One reviewer had an unboxing and review of a Rolex purchase and she simply deleted it 2 months later without an explanation.
