Which bag would you pick as your very first Chanel?

Black Jumbo single flap with gold and/or silver hardware. I have both bags and love them so much as well as a Black Maxi single flap with gold hardware. You can't go wrong with a single flap. So classic and lightweight. Good luck deciding!

This is interesting. When I first started buying Chanel years ago, I had my mind dead-set on a jumbo caviar in black w/ shw, which ended up being the second bag I bought after getting a GST in black caviar w/ ghw. Today, my first choice would definitely be a medium flap in black caviar w/ ghw... So funny how one’s tastes can really change over time.

If you are 5'4" and a size 6 I would go for the medium over the jumbo! Jumbos are pretty big and I feel like they look most proportionate on people who are taller/curvier. You may also find the caviar holds up better than the lambskin and therefore is a better long-term investment for you.
