It doesn't matter where it was made to me but if it matters to you then exchange it lol..Since you are paying money for it, get what you want..if the made in poland bothers you, exchange it for one that is made in italy although both are made by skilled Burberry craftsmen. :smile1:

I think made in poland is great. To me, where an item is made is important. There was a very cute seasonal quilted jacket at the boutique that I liked, but opted out of it because it was made in China.

It matters to me. Burberry used to be made in England for their raincoats and Italy for their wool coats. I was almost going to get a coat but saw it was made in Poland and another in China. No way.

Ever since I found out that Burberry outsources some of its lines to third world countries, I started paying a lot more attention to where a coat is made before buying one. I know the Prorsum line is made in Italy, but that stuff is not my style. I wanted a classic trench, and I would only accept one made from the UK. I saw plenty of them in the boutique made elsewhere that looked good, but I refused to buy them. It is not that I have anything against those particular countries, it is just a matter of principle. I will not pal $1200+ for a trench that only cost a fraction of what it would cost to be made in the UK, but both have the same price point. That is Burberry just being greedy and moving further from being a luxury brand. That is a different topic for a different thread, however.

Very well-said! I totally agree with you!

Personally, I wouldn't mind! Even if it's made in China, Poland or the UK, they're all made my amazingly skilled Burberry craftsmen. The materials are still from either Italy or the UK, it's just the person who made. It's the material that matters. If the materials from the ones made in Poland differ from the ones made in Italy, then maybe it's just right to exchange but if it doesn't, I don't think it should matter :) it's still all up to you though, of course. Xx
