I just bought a drawstring shoulder bag and it says made in Italy. Such a great deal.Got it from Nordstrom during lunch break today and i can't believe my luck.It was marked down from 15++ to 700 ish. SA said she forgot about this bag and just got it out!

I just got a fragrance gift set from Macy's that came with a Bear, and the latter is made in China. I wonder if the Bear with the haymarket check on it is made in Europe?

I just bought Burberry earmuff in their classic color. The tag says "Made in China" and it shows. I have an older, purple, Burberry earmuff that was Made in England. There's a world of difference. I paid $150 and it was NOT worth it. Their website says their earmuffs are Made in England, but I just bought mine from a Burberry store. Perhaps SOME are Made in England, so they keep that label and mislead people who receive the Made in China muffs.

None of us should buy designer goods at designer prices that are Made in China. It's just not worth it. Aside from the quality, there are many human rights violations (child labor) in China, which is why I steer clear of products from that country. (I didn't see the earmuffs tag til I got home, never thinking I'd have to check a Burberry product!) VERY DISSAPPOINTED.

I was almost tempted to get something from Burberry this morning made in china, and despite the fact that is was on sale I still decided Im not gonna do it. I do not support the fact that all of these manufacturers are going over to china and they think we dont notice. Somebody else can have it.

the way the economy is worldwide these days, i guess even the couture companys are cutting cost. products are made in mexico, china, pakastan where they can save money. but the question is..is the quality lower. my husband for many years collected remington knives made in the usa. they no longer are made in the usa but china. the quality is different. my husband is disgusted..i guess that goes for handbags and clothes also. you pay for the name and tag and quality. even tho it may be authentic it does not mean it is high quality..they sold out..and you sell out by buying the product. if the companys saw that there sales went down because of a buying protest they might go back to the original factory...its a idea...the world is changing...people dont care about quality like they did 50yrs ago or 100yrs ago. things were made with pride...there is no pride any more
