Where has all the Tano gone?

I still love my Tanos. At the height of my obsession, I had these:

Tano Minilisa (Brusciato Brown)
Tano MInilisa (Raspberry)
Tano Cookie Bucket
Tano Dangerous Curves (like the Minilisa but in a different leather)
and another Tano crossbody whose name I don't know

I kept only the Brown Minilisa and the Brown Dangerous Curves. I still love that style and it's the best Tano ever made. The other bags have been passed on to my mom and my sister.

I just do not get having your web site up but not updating it or being honest and saying you are not making Tano handbags anymore. What would be the point of that?

I did send an e-mail to them and tomorrow I will try calling their phone number.

I agree, let us know if you find anything out.

Thought I would chime in here as someone directed me to this question via email. Tano is very much in business, they have just (always) been bad about updating their website! You can email [email protected] to find a store near you, or call (914) 241-0628 and ask for Diane (customer service.) By the way, they will be having their annual warehouse sale in Mount Kisco, NY the day after Thanksgiving if anyone is local & interested :) :winkiss:

Thanks Tano Expert!

Just got another one, no idea of the style but its gorgeous!

I hadn't looked at this thread lately. I am e-mailing Diane as you suggest and will be very happy if she can direct me to where I can find Tano handbags.

I have signed up for the e-mails about the sales through Must Have Bags site but never gotten any notice of anything.

It still seems beyond odd to me that Tano is manufacturing handbags but if you google them very little shows up. What store, is this day and age, would not advertise they have these specific bags in order to sell to people who want them?

Been a Tano fan for a very long time. And the only places I see anything new are on eBay or Irv's luggage. Nobody has a huge selection. Looks like the latest are 3 or 4 new satchel bags. And who knows what Tano is making these days. Their web page showing bags say Fall 2014.

I e-mailed Diane at Tano Bags and she provided me with the names of 2 stores in the state of WA that carry Tano bags. I called Fini, what looks like a boutique in downtown Seattle. They currently have 3 Tano handbags. They love Tano and have sold them for years. The person I spoke with told me they never get all that bags they order. There is never an explanation as to why. They expect to get some more bags in March or April for spring.

I called the 2nd boutique, LoLo in Spokane and their phone number is disconnected though they have an extensive web site still on line. The web site connects with the Tano web site and is showing the 2014 Fall or Winter collection so that must be some kind of a (bad) joke.

The mystery continues .....

I e-mailed Diane and told her what I found when I called. I asked her if she has any store, no matter where, that has at least 25 Tano bags in an assortment of styles and colors. I told her that I would appreciate it, if she would tell me if none are out there, that we could both stop wasting our time.

I would just like to know what the current bags are! Update that website, Tano!

The Tano web site finally took their Fall 2014 collection down and nothing is there at all. Personally I don't believe they are manufacturing new bags. Perhaps they plan on returning someday but who knows?
