I know M, the person who the screen grab belongs to, and he is really a nice person, albeit quirky at times. He doesn't take himself too seriously, and he would never actually wear the products like this. He just thinks of super random things to say & cute things to do with his bags...it's purely for shock value. :tup:

My Epsom mini Della cavalleria in craie has been impervious to both dessert and curry dropped on it (not at the same time). One wipe and all good. My Epsom BK25s, MKII and so Kelly elan have held up in rain. So they are wearing well. I am still a fan of heritage leather and own quite a bit of box, barenia, and VN, but Epsom has its place.

However, I did have a similar reaction as @GabrielleS to the Epsom precursor Courcheval. That leather never ever worked for me (scraped easily, could not be spa-ed). And, Epsom can be matte and lack luster in certain colors compared to other leathers like swift.

UO: Not really a fan of Togo either; my etoupe Togo B30 (2022 or 2023 boutique) is a bit sad and lacking in luster

UO: while I love and own h coats, in general Chanel fits me better (I’m short, 5’2”, but long waisted. I prefer a closer tailored fit through the body; the cut down scale; the slightly lower waist; and the higher placement of the Chanel pocket compared to Hermes.

And, I find the more generous cocoon drape of full length H outerwear (cashmere or shearling) tends to dwarf me. The trimmer (similar to equestrian) cut of last seasons H leather studded coat is an exception).
