UO and apologies if this offends but…. Why oh why:wtf::facepalm::tdown::panic::confused1::eek: It’s not visually appealing, it damages the bag, and the only convenience it provides is free training for amateur pickpocketers.

To make this a super duper UO, H should require clients to sign an agreement to never wear their Kelly in this manner or else they get banned from acquiring another Kelly

There I’ve said it, throw stones at me now!

But a pro is easier access for my kid to pick his snacks out of it without playing with the hardware LOL ;P

My unpopular opinion is Hermes is on the downswing with the trendy crowd. I went to an event this week and all the trendy people who normally wear Hermes bags had moved on to something else. Normally it would have been like shooting fish in a barrel to see Hermes bags - mainly quota bags - and there was one evelyne and one picotin when normally I would have seen at least 20 in this crowd.

Hopefully it's true, because then it will mean those of us who loved Hermès bags before all the influencers etc made getting them impossible to get them easier again. I've been trying to get another GP for over a year. You used to find dozens of them on the website and easily get one from any store.

My opinion is that I really dislike the proportions of the Shoulder Birkin. I love the idea of a Birkin I could wear comfortably on my shoulder, but the elongated look of the SB just looks weird to me.

ITA, but I think this is the same with most E-W bags no? The Birkin is already a HAC coupé anyway.

I hate long handles on most totes anyway. Unless someone is around 6', all it means, is that one has to carry it on the shoulder because otherwise it's too low-slung to be comfortably carried in-hand, plus rolled handles on the shoulder will ruin most coats.

Hermes makes other shoulder bags that are far more fit for purpose, rather than wishing a hand-held bag was one designed for the shoulder.

I like shoulder bags, and wish they did make a smaller shoulder tote.

My OP is for the day is that Hermes needs to accept it’s 2024 and 99.99% of their customers have a cellular phone! For god’s sake, add a pocket part to the birkin/kelly for the iPhone. If my Kelly bag is closed and the phone rings, we all know it’s a missed call. Small discrete flat pocket please.

Edited to add-these are both day bags. Nothing wrong w a pocket.

Unfortunately I was allowed only one emoji for your original post. It deserved a like, a love, a clap and so on.
I have purchased more attachments to try to carry my cell phone on the outside of my Kelly than the cost of an actual kelly at this point

❤️ same same. I even discussed horizon but not ready to commit 🤣. Seriously a tiny pocket so that we don’t have to unlock, unbuckle our contraption bags (adding a request for a pocket part to the Jysperie). Even law books have pocket parts since beginning of time.

I too need to clap, like, love and thumb up. You won't believe how many emails I sent to confirm/ remind/ insist on the pocket for my Horizon. 🤭👌🏼

My UO- I hate all the bag charms like the rodeos and mini bags etc. I think they’re silly and a waste of money 🤷🏻‍♀️
Generally not a fan of the “adorn the crap out of your bag” idea. (Hides behind her unadorned Birkin 🤣)
I am not a big fan of bag charms (for now) either. My SA sweetly asked what color rodeo I would like when I received my B25. I thanked him for the offer but declined the bag charms. FWIW, I am not a bumper sticker person either.

My UO - twillies are a must-have for my bags.

This is the sole reason I can't bring myself to buy a Herbag, I love the color options and the casualness but the closures seem next level annoying, I don't need to one-up my Kellys, which already get the side eye most days due to their closures

Please someone do tell me if the Herbag is less annoying than it looks, I am easily swayed when it comes to purchases (is my concern a UO? 😂 )
OK. I am gonna try. I love my herbag 31. It is my go to travel bag to tote around. I have to admit it did take a few tries to figure out the flap and the sangles. My default is to buckle the loop opening onto the "knob" and push/thread one sangle in followed by the other. I typically leave the flap unbuckled and free hanging over the "knob" and sangles. When I wear the bag cross bodied, I can do the closure by one hand. If I am not in a crowded place and am comfortable with the surrounding, I had just buckle the loop opening and don't bother with the sangles. The free hanging flap again would hang over the "knob" to provide cover. :-)

I don't have a kelly, so my love to the herbag might be completely biased. :-)
