What's your FIRST designer bag you ever bought?!

my first designer handbag was a black Prada tote with chain straps. it was purchased in 1991-i still have it

Aaah I saw LV bags in a seaside tourist town near me...had no clue "what kind" it was but loved it - odd I know!! Then a gal I worked with at a big law firm had one when headed to Boston on a bus trip - I nearly tripped getting to her to ask her WHAT was that bag?? LV - told me where the store was in Boston - I didn't find it but did...manage to call and find out how much - then shortly after saw a speedy in a NM catalog - ordered it online - sweating the whole time! And back in the day it was $325 (which was a lot almost 30 years ago!!) - ha....the beginning and no end lol...and no I don't have it - sold and bought a couple more times though .....

First designer bag: Coach Sabrina, which I gave to Mom after my love for LV out grew my purse shelf.
First premium designer bag: LV Speedy B, never letting this one go!

Like many here, I started with Coach and Dooney & Bourke. My first premium designer bag was a black Marc Jacobs "Stella" around 2001-2002 or so. It's long gone now but looked like this. Anybody else remember these???

I think I was around 18 when I got my first designer bag. It was a black leather Coach Soho bag. I don't use it anymore since I outgrew it, but I still have it.

Fendi. It was a bucket bag. I loved it so much. I was in my twenties. I am not in my fifties and have just started to look at Fendi bags again.

I wish I had a photo! I'd mostly had cheap bags growing up, and was never really "into" purses. In my mid 20s I had a couple of Nine West bags, but nothing over $100. My first designer bag was a black leather Coach Madison Sabrina satchel that my husband bought me. Man, I LOVED that bag, and couldn't believe I owned it.
