What's your FIRST designer bag you ever bought?!

The first bag I ever bought was a Coach Large Madeline Signature Tote. I don't have the bag anymore, though.

My 1st designer bag was a plaid coach tote with a matching jacket for my dog. My mom got me that bag about 13 years ago. I went on to work for coach for many years and loved the bags during that time 2003-2005. Now I'm obsessed with Alexander Wang. I would love a Celine or a Goyard tote.

My first designer bag was the LV Accessories Pouchette in 2001. Not too long after the LV bucket bag and then pappillon in my early college days. It all went down hill after that with Dior, Fendi, Valentino, Celine... next stop Chanel

My first designer bag was a Coach bag my parents got me for graduation. My first premier designer bag was Ferragamo clutch I bought myself.

My first designer handbag was the Louis Vuitton Manhattan PM.
Prior to that, I owned 1 cheap crud handbag at a time, which I purchased from either Kmart or Target for less than $25 and carried until it literally fell apart in my hands. Then I would grumble my way thru my next $25 or less purchase.
One day I was in the Lenox Mall with my DD, shopping for something for her. The LV store obviously had their Tractor Beam set that day - Star Wars reference- and pulled me in the store. They didn't release me until my purchase was complete, and that was the beginning.

I got a vintage Dior monogram shoulder bag (fabric) when I was in my early 20s, eventually the hardware broke and was so unusual I didn't think to have it repaired. For my 30th birthday I bought myself a newsprint MBMJ Petal to the Metal Natasha, still have and love even though it has seen a lot of life.

Mine was MK studded Astor satchel like these except mine was dark chocolate brown. I got it on sale at Wear Else? and it was sold out at Holt Renfrew...circa 2008 I think? I finally consigned this bag in August - didn't have the heart to give her up until recently and she has sold. She was still in great condition as I'm not rough on any bags.

Wow, those were the days! I carried that same bag for 2 years straight or more??? And then, the Genie was out of the bottle
