What's the most disappointing bag you've ever bought?

Any LV bag that I purchased in the past. I would carry each bag a few times and then never use them. The bags with the monogram logos were too loud and the leather pieces were not timeless enough.

Mine was the LV Tivoli PM. This bag was really hyped up and it's beautiful TO LOOK AT! I carried mine three times and knew right away I had to sell it. It was sooooo heavy and left red marks on my arm for hours. I could feel the nerves in my arm---like pins and needles for well after I stopped carrying it. I don't really carry too much stuff--I carry the same amount in my other bags.

LV Trouville in Black MC - I have wanted a black MC LV since forever but most styles have too much vachetta leather or are too heavy. When I got it, it just did not seem worth all that money. The handles are too short that you cannot easily put it on your arm but it is more carry by hand. Also is not easy to zip/unzip. I think if the handles were larger I would have suffered through everything else. Wish they made a MC Speedy like the Mono without all the heavy hardware, would be the prefect bag

Goyard St Louis. The handles started peeling within a day of use. Then the stitching came loose on one of the handles. Barney's customer service made me feel like it was my fault even though I am very careful w/my bags. After it was repaired, I sold it on the bay and got an LV Neverfull.

I bought an Oryany messenger satchel in chocolate
great bag overall, nice leather and color
just the fact its too structured & boxy
doesn't look good when you try to wear it as a cross-body bag
i didn't ened up returning it (cuz it was an oversea purchase)
i use it for work & class now, it does look much better without the straps

Speedy 25: outgrew the bag and found the opening too small. Also found out I disliked vachetta.
Galliera: Again vachetta and it didn't sit nicely on the shoulder. Also, the opening didn't line up with each other.

Foley + Corinna Mid City tote. I have obsessed about this bag for some time but could not try it IRL. However really liked the pics of it on people in different fashion blog.
Bought it online, and it looked ridiculously huge on me if not folded, like from crook of the arm till knees. I couldn't imagine how i will find a wallet in it when in a store. I would be ashamed to go out with it:shame:
Shipped it back right away.

Thank you so much for mentioning this! I thought the bag in the pictures was so beautiful and I had put it on my when-it-goes-on-sale wish-list. It was since been crossed off. Thanks!

I almost wanted to purchase too until I have read some disappointing reviews on the re-issued Coach bags. They were not as well made as before. I think Coach was just banking in the retro trend for a quick buck.

LV bloomsbury. Loved it at first but after several months of carrying it, there were too many reasons to rehome it. Canvas became too stiff during the winter months; zipper gave me too many scratches when reaching in while wearing it; and dark checker pattern didn't complement with the majority of my clothes.

Coach Legacy stripe satin tote. Beautiful bag, but the bronze finish wore off the leather accents fairly quickly and the corners of the bag are frayed to the point where I won't use it anymore. I baby my bags, too, so it was disappointing. I don't buy Coach much anymore, and now I buy leather bags almost exclusively.
