What's the first handbag you ever had?

My first designer bags were a Gucci Jolicoeur large tote and a Gucci Britt medium tote in beige. I still have pics of them both cause they bring back many good memories for me. But they also are what got me into the bag shopping OCD crazy woman that I am today.

My first bag was a black leather crossbody from Prune. Prune is a contemporary leather goods designer from my country, Argentina, and is available also in some other countries in south america. I was like 12 years old when i got it for christmas!!

Mine was a Liz Claiborne crossbody. That was bigtime for me back in the 1980s. I felt like a goddess. I wish I still had that bag.

Probably Longchamp or Mulberry. At the time there was no LV store in my country and Chanel was very limited and exclusive. I don’t think I wanted Chanel before I became 18 yrs old anyway. Still very limited brands in my country, I always go to Paris or abroad for my bags.

First "designer" bag was Coach (can't remember the style) bought for my 8th grade graduation by my parents. The first designer bag I bought myself was a LV Neverfull GM DE, which I bought with my first bonus. I was so excited! Now I buy a bag each bonus season, and it's still just as much fun!

2 Gucci's in high school. Both were pressents from my parents. I always loved bags. Back in the 80's I think they were in the $150ish range. If I knew then what I know now. Both are still in my closet. Haven't been used in decades but will never part with them.
