Trust me... that "verbal contract" lasted a week. I said it to get what I wanted. I'm a sleeper too..lol.

Oh man, this thread! I've totally sold 80% of my closet to afford a bag in the past. I've also put a down payment on a car with a credit card so I could cash out the rewards dollars to buy a purse!

Has anyone tried that new company Affirm to pay off the bag over time? Or has anyone tried renting the bag they want or buying it pre-owned? There is a bag that I want but I just cant justify the expense. Need some good advice here! Thanks!

I sacrifice eating out, so I cook, meal prep. Eat the same thing 4-5X a week at work for lunch, which works out for my diet / working out anyways. But I also don't buy anything else BUT focus on getting the bag. I seem to love handbags most. I don't care to wear designer clothing or shoes, bags are my thing!

I increased my credit card debt, but I'm paying it off very quickly and I'm expecting a nice sized bonus in February to cover anything remaining....the bag was selling out fast so no guarantee she'd be available in Feb...no reason not to advance myself the money since that's where it was going anyway lol
