Same here. It's just that I know it's materialistic but it's what makes you happy or part of your happiness are your collections. I do believe that every woman has to have at least one designer item especially a handbag.

Last fall I flew to Paris from Boston simply to buy Louis Vuitton at a savings. I stayed only one night and spent $$$$, but I estimate that I saved almost $2,000 over what I would have (eventually) paid here, even given the price of the ticket/hotel. Plus, I felt vaguely like James Bond.

Even if cost-neutral after flight, hotel, and champagne (because Paris! Vuitton!), much more fun this way. And how special that bag must be ( ... you!ll always have Paris...)
