Whats the best bag for work?

It can hold the weight but the 13 inch Dell is much heavier then the Mac Book Air.
It may stretch the handles out and cause the glazing to crack. That’s what happened to mine and when I brought it to LV for repair they did tell me it’s from carrying too much weight.
Since the bag was less then a year old they replaced the Chaps and the straps free of charge but told me I would have to pay for the repair the next time.
So of course I didn’t listen because I’m thick headed and continued to use the bag for work and now the straps look terrible again and the bag has been sitting in its dust bad in my closet for over a year now [emoji53]
I just bought the GM DE for work because I could not fit my personal stuff, laptop and iPad into my Mono MM. I hope my straps don’t crack. I don’t carry a laptop everyday at least, but overtime I’m worried about the wear and tear. That being said maybe consider the mono or DA if you are worried about cracking straps.

Thanks :) I actually collect LE NF - I’m waiting for the next Mono LE - hopefully they release one in spring. I don’t use them for work anymore - I just use the longchamps for work now.

I have to bring my laptop to work every day, which sort of limits my choice of bags. I sometimes use my iKAT NF MM but it's tough carrying such heavy shoulder bag. For awhile I was just using a backpack, but recently I started carrying that for laptop but adding a crossbody for smaller things like my wallet, phone, portable charger, snacks, etc. So far only LV I've been able to throw in has been a mini pochette inside my crossbody, but I would love to incorporate more. I do have a Speedy B but it feels too large as a 2nd bag in addition to my backpack, and LockMe II seems too dressy. Pochette Metis could be a good option I suppose if I can ever find one.

Just curious how others manage laptops and LV bags into daily routine :)

I have the same challenges. My laptop goes into a backpack where I have a mini pochette for bits and
bops. Handphones, wallet, 6 ring key holder and sometimes sunglasses are placed in an Alma BB epi noir, which is carried as a cross body [emoji4] I find the pochette metis to be too big for my current needs.

My Saumur 35 is perfect because it’s a saddle bag. One side for laptop and the other side for my snacks & lunch. I also carry a handbag. I do not use my NF for my laptop because I do not want to stretch the canvas. The Saumur is very structured and the canvas is thicker than my NF because my Saumur is vintage. LV replaced the vachetta and hardware last year.

I use a Longchamp Neo (Taupe, Black, Red and Pink) for my work stuff because I toss that bag all over and it works well in all weather. I use various crossbody bags for my personal stuff depending on the season and weather.

HI guys....Need suggestions on a good everyday tote for work.....doesn't have to be huge, just something that would hold all the basic essentials and maybe also a water bottle, snack, etc. I promised myself if I got this job I was applying for I would treat myself to a new bag....and I found out this afternoon I got it!
I'm trying to be budget conscious though, so probably preloved.....looking at Batignolles, Cabas Mezzo and Neverful...but wondering if you have those what you think....or other recommendations?
Thanks so much!

I have the Montaigne MM in Empreinte noir as a work bag and my colleague has the Neverfull (same job). I like both but I love the elegant and structured look of the Montaigne and how it goes to every business occasion and outfit. Also I can use the Montaigne for evening as well as for shopping. It’s very versatile.
The Neverfull on the other hand is very roomy and you can easily through in water bottle, papers, laptop etc. It’s very carefree I guess. I never needed so much space, but can imagine depending on which job you doing the little room in the Montaigne can be annoying.
