There's nothing to say really. And as for me, I think it depends on how you carry yourself, I never doubt that anybody would think that I'm carrying a fake, and if they do, so be it, if it makes them feel better. I feel lucky to be able to buy my bags, and that's enough for me.

i wouldn't say anything out loud, i would point it out though if i had company with me who would appreciate my comments..

btw, yesterday at work i swear i saw a little girl.. she must've been between 7-10 carry a fake LV mono mini looping bag... it was so irritating!! so many young kids in the OC carry fakes and think they're all that. GRRR

i'm originally from Indonesia... over there so many people carry fakes it's so unbelievable.. I just thank God and my parents that I am able to afford a real one..

I certainly feel sorry for those who has fakes because they are wrongly representing themselves... >.>

I wonder what a bunch our girls from our forum would do if we were all dining for lunch and a somebody with a fake walked on by? Imagine it....this is us we are talking about,... in one room!:laugh: Sure there would be silence ,we have to be polite, but I wonder what our eyes would say and who would hold out the longest!

I usually whisper to my fiancé and we giggle a little. It really isn't my business to comment on it.. What I find is that the people wearing fakes really look like they have something to prove, like wannabe snobby.. People who carry real ones don't have that look, because they're not trying to prove to anyone that it's real..

The whole replica business does make me mad though.. Especially people who sell them to people who believe they're buying real ones. And of course the people who know they're buying fakes and don't care :mad:

If I'm by myself: I will tell myself that it's a fake and then try to catch up to that person to see WHO has the guts to wear that horrible fake. But I will not approach that person and point it out because I'm afraid to get my ass kick! lol

If I'm with friends: I will quietly point it out to my friends and then we'll all have a talk about it.

sometimes the fakes are sooooo darn good you wont be able to tell!!! or can you??? ;) after al its US right? ... but i swear i once saw a girl carrying a fake LV that looked so real I actually gasped when she TOLD me it was fake :P

i hate it when people wear fakes. they are ugly and totally ruin it for me. i was sure i'm going to buy the gucci horsebit hobo but here in vienna you can't walk down a street without running into 10 fake hobos. i even saw one with a dior logo pattern. now i won't buy it because 1. i buy designer bags so i don't have the same bag everybody else has and 2. i don't want people to think mine's fake as well. when i see someone on the street wearing a designer bag i usually check wether it's fake or not but i don't say anything.

I see a lot of (obvious) fakes on older women who I'm guessing aren't even aware that their bag is a copy of something else. They probably see a guy on the street corner selling the bags and think "that's a pretty bag, and cheap" and aren't really trying to impress anyone or pass it off as the real thing. Over at Century City, there's a cart that sells ripoff bags (Balenciaga's, Paddington's, Spy's). They aren't trying to pass them off as the real thing, which is why I'm guessing they can get away with it.
