Loved reading these. My first piece was the sterling silver Elsa Peretti Eternal Circle, medium. It was a Christmas 2007 splurge. I had just arrived in NYC for a short holiday, and was swept away by the romanticism of it all, even though I was a poor college student :) Wore that necklace for years! Slept, showered, exercised with it on. I put it away when the spring mechanism in the clasp starting feeling "loose." I'm a bit OCD in that I can't make myself wear the pendant with a different non-Elsa Peretti chain! One day I should get that clasp replaced and wear my first piece again...

Just wanted to start a thread to see everyone's first T&Co's pieces and share any stories behind it.

To start things off, my first piece was a gift from my aunt. She was the cool aunt, who lived in LA and wrote screenplays. She gave me the chain of stars bracelet for my 16th birthday.

I love this piece...the stars are so pretty!!!

My first piece was the classic heart-tag necklace, which I received from my parents upon my 8th grade graduation! It certainly started my ongoing love-affair with Tiffany jewelry.
Over time, I stopped wearing it as a necklace, and started wearing it as a bracelet [double looped it around my wrist], but I recently sold it because I stopped wearing it entirely.
My sister has the same one, so I figure one in the family is enough, anyway!

Elsa Peretti Open Heart necklace (SS w/ a diamond) from my grandmother in 2007. 9 years of heavy wear later & it is still pristine. Even though my other jewelry is more expensive this piece is the most special to me as I miss her. [emoji178]

Mine was the Elsa Perretti open heart necklace in yg. I later purchased one in silver and the open heart earrings in yg. I have collected several other Elsa Perretti pieces such as the bean necklace and earrings in silver, the open heart charm bracelet in silver,as well as other pieces that I treasure and wear often.

Mine was the round RTT bracelet that I got back in 2001 while I was living in London. I kept seeing women wearing it on the Tube and wondered where they got it from. One day I got to sit next to someone wearing it, close enough that I could see where it was from. I rang Tiffanys to find out how much it was, thinking I could never afford it since it's from there but when they gave me the price, I immediately went to the store in Old Bond Street and purchased one! I've since purchased a second one but I still have my original. My love for T&Co is still going strong. :-)

Mine was the heart tag bracelet with the lobster clasp (I don't know it's real name, sorry!). This was back in 2003; I was a Junior in HS and I've been saving money to buy this for myself. My uncle ended up buying it for me as a gift. This is my most sentimental piece by far. I used to wear the heck out of it everyday for years but now I don't wear it anymore. It's quite clunky and doesn't sit well against my wrist when I'm going to be at my desk all day for work.

I've had so many pieces and go in spurts of nothing for awhile then a few at a time [emoji23] I think my first was the Return to Tiffany heart tag bracelet with the matching choker shortly after

Technically a little silver oil lamp I inherited from my great-great grandmother. I think I may have bern given little gold knot studs as a baby but if so I lost them ages ago. So the first REAL Tiffany piece was the Enchant platinum and rose-cut diamond flower pendant I recently purchased after saving for over a year.:heart: Unfortunately it will be a very long time before I can afford another piece, but at least I now own my dream jewelry item!
