LV mini HL - it was way, way too small. I am very tall, and felt absolutely ridiculous carrying it. I used it once or twice, then sold it.

LV papillon 26 - awkward to use and hold, and the zipper scratched my hand. I only used it a few times before I sold it.

I want to sell my Nova Check bowling bag - I'm pretty irritated with the dye transfer issue. I feel like that shouldn't be a problem for such a costly bag and that Burberry should acknowledge the issue and show some embarrassment and they really do neither, which is sad (and they are one of my most favorite brands, it really really bothers me).

Anyway, I never carry it, and I don't even really like it anymore. It has a little bit of dye transfer despite my attempts to baby it, and I'm about ready to just sell the thing. Wish I'd never bought it. >:| (I adored the bag so much when I bought it, before I knew about the dye problems. I'm steering way clear of their checked bags from now on, I think - I think as a rule I should stick with leather anyway.)

What is the dye transfer? Does it get on your clothes? Is it just on the Nova Check Burberry, or is it also on the Haymarket Burberry?

The dye transfer problem with Burberry Nova Check is highly-cited - I recommend a quick forum search so as not to derail this thread, but basically, a lot of people have had trouble with the Nova Check taking dye from heavily-dyed items like dark blue jeans and the like. The conclusion is just that people should be careful when carrying Nova with dark clothes (Burberry refuses to admit fault for this issue).

Some have suggested that a good practice is to carry baby wipes (no aloe or anything) because the transfer can sometimes be cleaned off if it's noticed/tended to immediately. I think this is nuts - even if it does work, what the heck is the point of carrying a bag I have to worry about as if it were an infant?

I've not heard about the transfer issues as much from the Haymarket-carrying crowd, but that's not to say there's no problem. I suggest doing a little homework if you're concerned, or just stick to carrying it with light colored clothing. :)

For me, it tends to happen with cheap casual bags that I end up doing nothing with. I've prolly got 4 bags that I need to get rid off... but I did splurge once on a branded leather document bag that hasn't seen the light of day in a years

Im never disappointed in the higher end bag..
But i did get "oh god why" on the non-popular contemporary bags.
Usually they r just a fling since these are mostly just lesser than $200 and i dont have to think abt it. *sigh*

Balenciaga City. I am so out of love.

I like mine...not sure I love. I sold two in very good to excellent condition. I paid $1500 and only received approximately $900 back =( I don't see them as a "good investment" they don't hold their value as a Chanel or LV will. They are quite fragile.

I regret my town because it's too small. I do like the crossbody option though.

All of my Louis Vuitton monogram bags (a number of speedys, 2 sac plats and a neverfull). I bought them over the years and as soon as I would carry one...I would realize I don't love it and sell it or return it. I'm not that into blatant logos. I still troll places for deals on speedys and I have to remind myself NOT to buy them. Again.
