I just got myself a monogram Josephine wallet in the rose Ballerine which I love. I am normally a key pouch girl which I still use when I use smaller bags. I had a Rosalie but sold it bc it was a little to Iittle for me ( wish it was a little wider)
So pretty congrats! Love the heart stamp too! If I remember correctly, didn’t you have this wallet in DE??
Yes! Well it was an emelie... I had a wallet saga. I first got a monogram rose Ballerine emelie and I thought I would like it more bc I could fit my phone in it. Then the emelie came out in Damier rose Ballerine came out and that’s what I always wanted a Damier rose piece. The Josephine has a been hard to get during this time and finally it was add to cart! Oh in the mix of this i tried to get a Jeanne. I never ended up carrying the phone in the emelie wallet bc I always took it out. I don’t have to many cards so I decided the Josephine was a way better style for me. The Question is will they come out with a Damier Josephine in the rose Ballerine bc that’s what i really would want. Hahahahaha
I can totally understand your dilemma. They’re all so pretty but serve different functions. This one is simply beautiful. I really like the wallet in mono. The DE would be lovely too. Lol You made a lovely choice. Like I said, that heart stamp is so pretty.
Dear LV Wallet owners,
Hi!
Need your logical & practical advice. I purchased my first LV wallet in mid June 2018. Its a Sarah Wallet in Monogram canvas, as I wanted a large but well organised purse so that I can carry all my cards i.e. debit cards, IDs, loyalty cards etc in one wallet along with enough space for cash. I have DE cles for coins seperately. I’ve been using Sarah Wallet in Monogram canvas for whole year without changing out of it. I don’t misuse it but I don’t baby it as well because when I buy a wallet whether Coach, MK, Gucci or LV, I intend to use it. Therefore my wallet is in the same comparment as my mini pochette, reading glasses (soft & squishy case); long champ fabric pouch for catchall; iphone 7 plus and tissues. My keys are in 6ring key holder zipped away in a seperate pocket. Two days back I noticed slight dents on my wallet’s glazing. I sent her the photograph of the glazing but as my SA is on leave I will take it to the LV Store after few days. Most probably I’ll have to send it for repair. I would like to buy another Sarah Wallet either in epi leather or emprinte leather as a “travel”wallet few months down the line. I want your advice about which of the two leathers is more durable in terms of scratching and peeling of glazing? Also how long does it take for tight and stiff epi leather to soften?
Thank you for listening to my rant and hope to get your valuable feedback!

Epi is a workhorse! I love Empreinte too. I find Sarah in either leather would be thick and heavy. If you love envelope style wallet then consider Emilie as a full sized wallet. Best for traveling is canvas as it’s the lightest. Not sure if you can find Emilie in Epi but definitely in Empreinte. I have fallen in love with Key Pouches in Empreinte as travel wallets as I can bring along two, keep the currencies and credit cards separately.Dear LV Wallet owners,

Empreinte is really hardy....I use it on a daily basis. No issues with glazing, that was the initial issue when that leather was launched, I had to change straps of my Citadine PM twice. The newer Empreintes are holding up really well. You will see fine scratches on Epi and they are stiffer then Empreinte. I love Epi for bags and Empreinte for SLGsI’m too scared of using emprinte leather in my daily or travel use as I’m scared of emprinte getting scratched. Is epi leather really to stiff and hard? Is it like speedy b straps in DE which never soften?
Epi isn’t soft to the touch when grabbing for it, so of the two, I’d buy Empreinte. If I were you, and I too have a Sarah but in the Evasion Monogram print, I’d exchange for another Mono or Damien canvas print. If you enjoy the layout of the Sarah, I don’t think any other wallet would suit you unless you buy a Zippy, as they have similar utility with card slots, bills, etc.
