ShyShy, may I make some suggestions? Are you on any kind of timeframe/ deadline? The reason I'm saying this is bc I really took my time deciding on my earrings. Okie, granted I took foreeeever!! But you get my point. Sleep on it for a while, take time thinking it through, go back to VCA and keep trying both on. See how you feel in a few weeks' time, even a few months' time. See what really speaks to you the loudest, see which makes your heart flutter - that's THE ONE!

My Lotus ring, on the contrary, was instant love/ love at first sight. I didn't even have to think about it. I just KNEW I had to have it. Have not regretted my decision for one single instance.

Maybe you want something else entirely. Would that even be a possibility? If you have to hesitate, think it through so much, maybe neither one is what you really want. Even my Alhambra earrings, the very last time I tried them on, I was IN LOVE. That's how I know if a piece of jewellery is something I really want and cherish forever and ever.

Either choice is a lot of money and I'd hate for you to regret after your purchase. Whatever you decide, good luck and make sure you enjoy the process!

Just wanted to share my dream Noeud bracelet (more like trying to distract myself from going back and forth between Alhambra watch and lotus ring). I don't remember the source of the pictures apart from the first, which is from VCA. I apologize if the quality of the pics are lacking. The bracelet is a very fluid piece. I love VCA's couture inspired pieces, like their zip necklace. So fluid and ingenious. These creations are what makes VCA truly special.View attachment 3820935View attachment 3820934View attachment 3820936

I love this. It's so beautiful and feminine. [emoji177]

Dear Phoenix, thank you for your advice. My problem is I love both! I've liked the watch for a few years now. I originally fell in love with the diamond bezel one with pink straps. But I always seem to have other items on my wishlist that I wanted more. Every year I keep revisiting the watch, every year I told myself I'd get it next time... Until the SA suggested I look at the full pave. The minute I put it on I couldn't stop thinking about it. That was a few months ago.

Same with the lotus ring. I originally planned to get the ring end of next year to commemorate a milestone. But with the introduction of the revised version and my desperate attempt to source the old one, it made me realize how much I loved the ring. In the past, the only thing stopping me was its bling factor. I worried I won't get much wear out of it. After visiting the store and trying on the new version, I think I still quite like the ring! It also felt a bit more comfortable for me than the old one. Hence the dilemma.

I think I will most likely get the watch first. Then if I still think about the ring, I'll get it next.

It's soooo beautiful! Have you ever tried the Tiffany diamond Bow cuff? I bought it last year, more casual [emoji6]

I haven't been to Tiffany for years! Where I am, the SAs were just not very personable and very snooty so my impression of the store and subsequently the brand hasn't been that good. But the Noeud bracelet will always have a special place in my heart. I still prefer VCA's ribbon bracelet over other brands, even though I am pretty sure I can't afford it!

YAY!!! Congrats!! Sooo excited for you!! Come back and post a gazillion pics please!
Will do Phoenix! Can't wait till the watch arrives!

Congrats Shyshy! You went with what you love [emoji16][emoji16] can't wait to see pics, I believe they also give you a few different colour straps too?
Thanks Natalie! They do offer different strap options but I'm quite happy with just the black satin strap as it feels more understated and goes with everything. The watch looked too extravagant for daily wear when swapped over to croc (although I did like quite a few of the pop colours they had on offer). The croc strap would be great for dinners and such, but you'd have to go into the boutique each time to change over to a different colored strap. A hassle in my eyes.

Do you have to go in to switch out straps? You may be right because I am not familiar with this piece. I can change mine out in less than a minute without any tools and thought many straps were made this way. Your watch definitely looks perfect with the black strap but you may have some options.

Ooh, a croc strap would be ah-mazing! I recall when I was looking at a watch at VCA that the SA said they recommended that you come in each time to change straps. Don't recall it voided any warranty or anything if you did it yourself, or if it was model specific. I also usually change straps or remove links on my other watches on my own, but would definitely make sure to ask about any warranty issue first.

Congrats on your new piece, can't wait to see pics!

Yes That's the only thing I don't like about the watch. I am assuming you own the charms watch? That watch allows for self changing straps. It's so weird that one watch has it and the other doesn't, even though they offer all these different coloured strap options for the Alhambra watch. Do share with us more details about your watch!
