This leather is to die for. It is just gorgeous and will be a great addition to your mab collection. The neon pink piping is a lovely pop of color. If you don't love the bag, I will be shocked. It is very very hard to find and I am stunned at the price you got it for, as a reference I paid more than double what you did..... Let us know what you think when it arrives!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats on this steal!

I was not crazy about it either, but then I thought about all the times I wear all black, and how edgy and unexpected that pink would be to break up the black. example: black wrap dress, black Miz Mooz peep-toe slingbacks, and Black Cat... Now, I can hardly wait for her to get here!

i'm still not convinced black+pink is a good combo but the leather of that bag is really slouchy. and it's a great deal indeed look forward to your reveal and mod photos

That is exactly what I do. Break up an all black outfit and you won't believe the compliments and stares I get with this bag. Really..if it turns out you don't like it, you will be able to sell easily.
As far as any naysayers who haven't even seen the bag and don't like pink etc etc, then I say.....ok, don't buy a pink bag or any bag with pink in it. But please don't be negative when someone else is thrilled with a new bag they bought... That is all, thank you very much.

So, here it is. I am a doofus... because it is not a MAB- and seller never called it a MAB. It's COOL - have never seen one like this. It's longer than a MAB (end to end), and about the same height and width (front to back) as a MAM. Seller listed it as a Rebecca Minkoff large purse, which is exactly what it is (dork here didn't notice the absence of handles) - yet it's awesome. A perfect jean- bag... rugged chocolate brown with favorite grey-pinstripe lining. HOT!! It's an un-MAB, with Nikki strap instead of handles (handle attaches to the dog leash clips a-la new strap, so they can't be clipped down like a MAB unless I rig a different kind of strap. With my bag closet,I have one or two possible straps. Or ten.

Brown is the perfect color for this size/ style of un-MAB:

I didn't misunderstand anything. You stated twice you don't care for black and pink. I got it. No I see no humor in your text, and I do respect other opinions, but like I said, I got your negative response the first time. I don't need to "relax" either. Tracking says April 17. Having said that, the ETA for them surprise brown one was Wed-Thurs, yet it came today. Black Cat is coming from Massachusetts, which is 1) IRS tax return destination for the Northeast, and well, 2) Boston. So who knows... Things are a bit wacked on both those fronts, more important than a bag...thinking good thoughts for the people of Boston.

I am getting more excited with every one of your posts (how did I consider passing this up???) -- will let you know the second it gets here, and will post pics as soon as I can!
