Wow, what a find! I can't help with the leather ID but I love the texture on the front pocket. Have you thought about what (if any) repairs you might make with the lining? Could look cool with a contrasting ribbon stitched around the inside to help tack down the parts that are a little worn.
Congrats!! This is that leather that's ALMOST like stonewash but not quite. I had a MAB exactly like that with that same lining. I have a SW Elisha I scored off the Real Real a couple months ago. I love it!!
