what purse do you carry in the rain?

I don't change bags depending on the weather, but rather, depending on how much I have to carry. 
Since all of my bags are mono canvas, then that is what I carry, even in the rain.

so I don't ruin my new BH which is only 2 mos old, I bought a Looping GM from Let-trade that is already aged - it's great, and I also have a mini looping when I don't want to carry the Looping GM....Hope that helps, otherwise put it in a plastic bag and run like hell inside! HA! HA!

Since I live in Oregon where rain is a fact of life, I really don't let it dictate what bag I carry. But if I had to think about it, I would carry my black Le Fabuleaux. That bag is a workhorse and never shows any wear. Love!
i'm in vancouver also. i've been using my damier speedy in this horrid rain. I don't dare use my mono bags, mainly cuz they are still quite new and haven't developed patina yet.
Depends....if it's pouring like mad (like it has the past week) then I'll get out my Samsonite waist bag. Next would be my red Escada hobo bag, then my black MC Alma which has acquired a significant patina already...
ha ha! i was pondering this today, as we had a dusting of snow. i carried what i was carrying (petit noe) instead of changing to the saleya. i said to myself, you buy bags to use them. now use it. and i took a deep breath and went outside. we both survived.
