Congrats on your purchase, and thanks for sharing the article. I think companies will be offering more samples and sample packs as I am guessing that most people will be hesitant to go into a store and touch and spray from tester bottles. Maybe they will offer pre-packaged scent sample towelettes. I often get those perfume sample towelettes in the mail from Fragonard (based in Grasse) and have tried quite a few of them. They are good for a one-time use and perhaps more economical for companies to mail or hand out (compared to spray perfume sample vials).

I have been ordering perfume samples for a while now since I don't live very close to stores that offer the niche perfumes that I am interested in trying. And speaking for myself, I can say that my perfume usage has not changed/decreased during the lockdown, since I wear perfume even if I am indoors; I like to wear it so I can enjoy the experience of smelling the fragrance.:smile:

Thank you for this thoughtful replies and the recommendation for Fragonard - they have beautiful perfumes and products!

Likewise, I am still wearing perfume. I am lucky to be able to work from home, and the bonus is that whereas some perfumes would’ve been too strong for the office, now I wear whatever I want :nuts:

Portrait of a Lady arrived and I tried the sample first - really, really want to give it a chance but on my skin, it smells like incense similar to ones burned in a Buddhist temple or an orthodox Catholic church. It’s going back - we want portrait of a lady, not portrait of a nun :P
