It is a great book about historical high jewelry pieces purchased & resold by this company. However, what was more interesting is that I realized Joseph Saidian & Sons is an antique jewelry company that specializes in luxury brand such as Jar, Boucheron, Buccellati, Harry Winston, and of course VCA.
They are based in NYC, but they have a website. They have gorgeous pieces, very old world glamour.

I am sure the company is legit given their long history. However, I am always a bit worried some antique jewelers will swap out original stones that are abraded and replace them with stones that are newly polished. Or, they might even fake a few pieces; hence, I am still chicken and have not purchased any "used jewelry" at this point.
For those of you who have experience in purchasing antique jewelry, have you purchased from this company before? Any thoughts?
For locals, the store is on 55th & 2nd, just a 15 minute walk from VCA if you care to venture out and take a peek.

Speaking of colored gemstones (I don’t have much at all), I finally ordered a Lisa Eldridge ring since I’ve been wanting one ever since she launched her jewelry collection. I love everything about her and I happen to love low set stones with an open basket setting so they are literally perfection to me. For my birthday DH got me the Anderson cushion ring, it’s a lovely saturated green chartreuse peridot and all of her stones are old cut for a subtle sparkle. Lisa has been wearing these style rings for decades as part of her signature style and they make such a nice clinking sound when stacked together while she does someone’s makeup. Sorry for gushing I’m clearly just obsessed. I can’t wait to collect some of the other stones to stack with as well.

I have always loved colored gems myself (a love passed down from my mom), and after seeing these gorgeous pics of you two I want to take mine out and wear them pronto! These colored gems add that extra punch imo.
