Does anyone know how long it takes for the status to change from pending order validation to preparing for shipment? If I ordered it late Friday night will the status change over the weekend if I have express shipping? I’m holding my breathe..

It should be handled as the rest of the orders placed on the weekend, which process on the next business days. You should be expecting update by Monday afternoon/evening.

Also I'm expecting the fulfillment centers to be swamped with all these online orders now so don't panic if you don't get an update right away. When I placed the order on last Saturday night, the order status stayed in 'order in preparation' and barely updated to 'shipped' today (Saturday), but I've already got the tracking # on Monday and received my bag on Tuesday. So go figure.
