Interesting posts. I didn't even think of this aspect! I'm not sure how that would turn out. Interesting. Thank you both for sharing!

To clarify my comment, the strap that is included with the dreamer, swagger, grace, Brooklyn and others needs to be wider. The ones that come with these bags will dig into your shoulder.

Yes! That's one of the reasons I don't like most crossbody bags. It's like they decide that if it is a crossbody strap, it has to be skinny. They could add a shoulder pad that you could remove if you didn't want it. Some of the older Coach bags had a tapered strap that was wider at the shoulder.

Oh! I would love to have a shoulder pad for straps!

Classic not trendy bags that will last for years, like their days of old. I liked it when they had oldies that had been around for years and years but were still fashionable. I hate the new bags that they desperately set forth and then withdraw quickly in a season (or less). It does not seem a good way to do business to me (and I'm an accountant so I've seen many businesses do it right or go sideways.)

You're very much right. I went to school for accounting too and I'm always wondering why they constantly create new trendy items and then discard the said collection. Maybe that's why they had trouble a couple years ago as far as decreasing sales and revenue. Thanks for sharing!!!

Great topic OP!!

I would like to see the Riley bag done in all leather, and would live the Parker to be reimagined in 1941 quality with a more structured flap (with a better edging) and a better quality chain.

I would also like to see the coated canvas in a tote form. I think it would quite durable, but I am worried about the potential tackiness of a bag completely engulfed in the C's. So perhaps a different iteration of the signature, or no signature at all.

I'd also love to see the mailbox and kisslock bags in different colors. While light blue and frosted yellows and pinks are nice, it is a bit challenging to match with typical everyday outfits.

Thanks! I do like coated canvas for rainy weather. It had been mentioned in a different topic (one about signature returning) that maybe a subdued carriage logo or something would be unique and different. I agree with your posts! Thanks for sharing!

I want a 1941 throwback line. All the older styles, I am talking Cashin designs, archival, the works- Court, Willis, Janice, City, Stewardess, Bucket, Penny, Watermelon, I could go on!! But with 1941 detail, and thick, chewy leather. Bonus- if this line in particular could be made in the USA, even better!

I agree with substantial leather!!! Glove tanned, soft!

200% agree about being Made in the USA!!!!!!!

Thanks for sharing!

I would love to see the City come back and yes, good leather.

Love this. I really liked the 1941 Duffle as a new version of a bucket bag, but a redone Court bag would be a dream!!!
