What is your go to bag during these crazy times?

Is anyone carrying their bags when they go out now? Since I started working from home full time, I have not used a purse. I grab my wallet, phone, and keys when I leave the house. But I hate stuffing things in my pockets, and the sight of my spring/summer bags languishing on the shelves is very sad. Bags were an integral part of my life and I want my life back.

I don’t avoid using bags that I would’ve used during normal times. I do use a crossbody bag, but I have a young child and tended towards crossbody before these times. I am pregnant so I have had to go to the drs way more than the typical healthy person has during this time and it cheers me up to have my stuff with me while I wait.

For me, that small piece of normalcy has helped me stay sane...

I’ve been carrying one bag for the past two months but yesterday I finally switched out to my pre-loved crossbody LV Odeon PM. The parks opened up so we went for a walk on the nature trail in the Everglades just west of Boynton Beach. There were a few people out and you can rent canoes/kayaks. It’s been pouring down here - some tropical system -so today I broke out my Bloomsbury PM. I delivered some birthday presents to my co-worker (fellow teacher doing distance learning). Ugh I hate all of this!! I miss normalcy

The Odeon is one bag I might be willing to take a chance and purchase preloved at the local department store! I LOVE that handbag and am sorry I waited too long to purchase it!

I have switched out of my Walmart bag and moved into a pink Longchamp Le Pliage. It is cheerful and it makes me happy to see it.

I barely have anything I carry with me, but I like carrying a bag, so I do.

It is a little bit of normal for me, too, in all of this craziness.

Yesterday I went with dh and my dog to pick up her flea and tick meds at the drive-thru at the vet's office. I put the few items I carry into a pretty blue pattered Vera Bradley handbag I rarely carry anymore. It's actually a pretty bag.

Since my only trips are to the grocery store I found my wallet on chains to be very useful. It avoids having to open a bag, then a wallet. I just use my WOC as a wallet and keep a small hand sanitizer in there. Crossbody, handsfree and light weight!

During this time I have been using a cross-body (Longchamp foulonne mainly as it is of high quality and ,survives, the frequent cleaning) for errands or a tote if needed to carry more items (like going to the post).
During this lockdown time, I have combined my passion for handbags, customisation, and art and I am carrying around my own creation of a tote!
Totally in love with it so far and testing how much being it will be able to take. So far it is doing perfectly :) @monogrammed4you

At the beginning of this whole event I was using my Chloe Marcie Belt Bag--it's small and has an adjustable strap so I could use it in a couple of different ways. Then I got tired of it and started carrying my PS1 Pouch. It's been almost 3 months now...so I am totally branching out. I carried my YSL Kaia the other day and my mono LV Alma yesterday.

It makes me happy to carry my bags so I'm returning to my normal handbag rotation. It sounds silly, but working from home I am going to start pulling out a bag everyday--even if it's just for me to look at or carry on my commute to my home office.
