I adore coloured gemstones and would say after careful thought as I have owned pretty much everything along the way.

1.Swiss blue topaz because it’s my fav colour, durable and my wedding ring. Chosen+ paid for by Hubby. 3C2B361B-0234-46A3-BB12-D3E9B4ED384F.jpeg

2.Sapphires; Blue, pink, + coloured sapphires are heavenly.
3.Emeralds are ab gorgeous ive just started to appreciate them.

Garnets and pearls.

I also love moonstones and opals.

Garnet is my birthstone and I love that deep, rich burgundy color. I also love rhodolite garnets, purple-y deep pink. So pretty!

Pearls, they are so soft and feminine. They glow.

Moonstones and opals have that beautiful translucent quality. It's like there is a very soft light inside the stone.

I like rubies a lot, too. If I were to ever have a colored engagement ring, I'd choose a ruby with a diamond halo.

Garnets are becoming a fast favorite for me. I purchased a Garnet ring in Amsterdam during some recent travels and cannot take my eyes off it.

Green Onyx is also lovely.

Moonstone - it’s milky semi-transparent colour is calming, pink and blue sapphires- so pretty, wearable, and onyx - mysterious (but I still adore diamonds because they are magic, they are stardust!)
I love moonstone! They are so majestic and versatile! Have you seen the jewelry on Joyeria? I think we may have similar taste and if I am right then your welcome! They are the best there.

I love pink also! I would love to have a rose gold ring set with a blush pink morganite but I wonder if the stone would get scratched with wear?

I know you wondered about this a while ago so you've probably looked it up by now. Morganite should be fine for occasional-regular use particularly if there is a strong surround setting. It's about the same hardness as an Emerald.

I think I must have 'liked' every post but I find it interesting that pink/blue/purple stones are so many people's favourites.

I suppose I'm most drawn to sparkly green stones and my favourite of these are demantoid garnets. I also like opaque non-sparkly stones like turquoise, lapis, goldstone, tiger's eye which lend themselves really well to the kind of jewellery I like too. Honestly, I can't think of a stone a don't like but it has to fit the jewellery design and other materials.

I think green is my second favorite. My fiancé’s birthstone is emerald & my 3rd favorite ring after my ering & tanz. is a green tourmaline legacy

Opals have been a favorite of mine for a long time! I've come to really like black opals, especially the ones that show blue and green. I have some black opal jewelry I bought in Hawaii.

Tanzanite is a newer love. My daughter was born in December and that's when I found out about Tanzanites! I love the purple colored ones.
