What is your "comfort level" of the dollar amount you are willing to spend on a LV handbag?

Great topic: I never capped my spending on a bag I do notice in the last year I haven’t bought as much LV as I used to. I keep eyeing the empriente OTG But with all the quality issues in the last few years I don’t want to pay 3300 for an LV.

I love thcapucines but at that price point you arebetter off justbuying a chanel.

I’m also have asleep incase of typos!

I usually cap out at $2,500 - 3,000 with the only exception to this being my Noir Artsy, and even then I really sat down and made a hard analysis of why I wanted that bag by completely removed any starry-eyed emotional investment and saw the bag for what it really was; overpriced pieces of leather, coated metal, and fabric. Still, this girl knows what she likes and dam if that bag doesn't look like a snack. #NoRegrets

I don’t think I’ve ever been comfortable with what I’ve spent on a LV handbag as the prices just keep going up. I’d be comfortable if they went back to the price of my first bag. It was $500.

Lol, this is true. My first Speedy 25 in 2005 was about £200. I bought a Delightful in 2010 for £480 and I now see used tatty ones listed for more than that. That’s why I can’t bring myself to buy older preloved bags. My preloved age limit is 5 years!

Pochette Metis in Empriente is the most I've spent. That was a stretch for me, mentally not financially. But I love the bag and since I started using it, I try not to think about the price. I also sold a couple of wallets to justify it to myself somewhat. Would I do it again? Not anytime soon, but maybe in the future if the right bag comes along.
Well said! My Bag twin, exactly how I feel!
Exactly this for me. Love my empreinte PM!
