What is your "comfort level" of the dollar amount you are willing to spend on a LV handbag?

I cringe a little at anything over $2500. But I know this is all relative to one’s income. $2500 might be a little steep for me, but for someone else it is the equivalent to adding guacamole to a Chipotle order.

That said, for the right item and circumstance I would splurge. I do have items on my radar but so far nothing has motivated me to go over my own personal threshold.

I'd spend that for a bag, but never for extra guac I have a mental block for paying extra on food.

I have actually bought an avocado and added it myself to my Chipotle order. One whole avocado was cheaper than a scoop of guac.

And the way I see it, I am thereby justifying that $2500 handbag because I saved on the guac over the course of a lifetime!

I'm not a fan of LV leather but love how lightweight and durable LV Canvas is. That means that my high limit on LV is 2k. Anything past that I would rather buy a Chanel.

For LV, $2000 is max for their canvas pieces. Budget for their leather would really all depend on the bag, but I tend to go towards Chanel when we are talking about leather pieces.

My limit has gone up and up and up for what I'm willing to spend. Never thought I'd spend $2K on a bag, but I just bought the Loewe Puzzle Bag and it was close to $3K. I sold my Reverse Pochette Metis to help pay for it. And for whatever reason, that was a wake up call for me to slow down, enjoy what I have, and I'll have to sell if I want to buy moving forward. I started buying about 10 years ago and it was so much more affordable. Now, $2K-$3K is expected.

At least, that's what I'm saying and feeling now. Who knows what I'll be feeling like a year from now.

Pochette Metis in Empriente is the most I've spent. That was a stretch for me, mentally not financially. But I love the bag and since I started using it, I try not to think about the price. I also sold a couple of wallets to justify it to myself somewhat. Would I do it again? Not anytime soon, but maybe in the future if the right bag comes along.

It depends on the bag, but I wouldn’t spent more then 1.800€. For canvas my absolute limit is 1.500€.
I don’t have a high income since I’m not working and my man does work but he’s getting only average payment. So I’m saving for my goals usually

For an LV bag anything over $3k gives me pause Bc id rather put the money towards Chanel. It’s why I haven’t bought the capucines yet. I keep thinking I’d rather a Chanel flap or to put that money towards a birkin

For any bag in general, probably not over $15k which excludes me from Hermes exotics.

I normally say $2,500 is my threshold. That said, I may splurge on an Hermes Evelyn PM at some point. I need to sell a few more houses before I can justify it though. It would be a quite a splurge at $3,400 so we'll see. I may chicken out before I actually make the purchase or decide on preloved.

In Euro 2.500, I have spend more, but was very uncomfortable. I feel the most comfortable around 1.500 €/bag, than a little wear and tear is ok. I won't ever spend the price of a Birkin for just one bag, I won't wear it ever because of wear and tear-fear I rather spend thin money on multiple bags.

I like LV for its canvas although I tried to love its leather (but no, just too heavy). So, for me to spend on a canvas bag, it should not be above $2500.
