What is the most that you'd spend on a handbag?

My most expensive bag is my Mulberry Emmy in Oak which I bought at full price, $1,190.00 I think, which bums me out because I was able to purchase a black Emmy about a month later for half that. If I had waited I could have purchased the Oak at half price too. Oh well. No regrets.:smile1:

My squirrel spy, retailed about $3090, but I got an unbelievable deal at $1515! Most I've paid for a bag was my blueberry spy at $2120. I can't believe I started out telling myself I'd NEVER spend over 1000 for a bag. LOL!

the speedy 30 is not over 1000 its only like 550-600.

My most expensive handbag purchase was a Prada hobo that was part parachute material and part leather. It cost me $600. My next bag is the LV Speedy 30 which was $560 at the time. I can not rationalize buying a bag that is more than $1K right now. If I could blow that kind of money within minutes for a bag, then I need to go an fabulous vacation instead. I believe bags should be used (as well as eye candy). If and when I buy a $1K+ bag, it will be one that never goes on sale. It will be a Birken or a Balenciaga.

My most expensive bag is my black Christian Dior gaucho bag. I got it from BlueFly for $1100. I wanted that bag for so long and to finally see a black one pop up on BlueFly I didn't hesitate to grab it. I can't believe I paid that much but I love this bag and wouldn't part with it.

glad to see i'm in good company! the most i've paid (so far) is 1525 for a Rouge Theatre Balenciaga City. actually, it's going to be even more than that because the handles were dark, so add another 95 bucks for a cleaning! don't know if it's worth it yet - it was my HG, but i'm actually more inlove with my black 05 work that i got for less than retail :confused1:

Anya Hindmarch Carker for $1650.00 AUD (? about $1000.00 USD?) It's the start of something terrible. Now I want a Ralph Lauren Ricky!

Save me from myself....

My biggest score was a Hermes ostrich at $7000 SEVERAL years ago; it would be worth about $12,000 now. One of my biggest regrets in history was selling it (ie, giving it away) on eBay before I found out how much it had appreciated.
