What is the most that you'd spend on a handbag?

I think this is a good thread to bring us all back to reality when it seems like so many posters are buying high end bags all of the time.

My most expensive was my Coach legacy shoulder bag at $398 plus tax.

I'm with you, JNH14. All my nice bags have been on sale. My most expensive bag was my Ferrgamo camel satchel at $895 plus tax, but even that was on sale from $1300. Don't know if I can break the $1,000 mark quite yet, when everything seems to go on sale after a short time. Don't you just hate that?

I agree-I am willing to put off getting a bag! The old proverb says that, "Good things come to those who wait!"

i think, but im not sure, that i have two bags that were abotut $1050-1100 each with tax (a ltd ed coach kimono tote and a LV marelle sac a dos) but i don't think i have bought anything more than that yet.

My husband bought a Balenciaga for my 40th birthday. I'm not sure about the exact price but he has let on that it was over $1000.

I bought a LV damier speedy $595 exactly from eluxury during their free shipping. I also bought a $500 burberry haymarket satchel. Next bag I want is a LV monogrammed and a lovely chanel (after I graduate from college).

Chloe Python silverado, full retail (WHAT? I haven't SEEN that particular one on sale ANYWHERE! so there) for sime ridiculous amount of money. I think it was $2500 or more with sales tax.

Not sure if I count this one or not. I bought a pre-loved Fendi B Bag on eBay for about $1250. But then I realized it was too small and I just sold it at a loss ... for $800.

So now the most expensive bag I have in my possession is my chocolate Fendi Spy, which I also bought pre-loved on eBay for around $875.

My Chloe Silverado Anaconda Tote retailed for $3400, (tote is the middle bag in the first picture) but I got a great sale and my Chloe Python Silverado which retailed for about $2500, another one I got a steal on!!!
