What is so special about the "box"?

I dunno what "normal size" is, but I'm 5'7" and size 14-16, and I the box. It's not nearly as small as the First. It's roughly the same size as an LV Speedy 25, which I also love. It fits all my stuff and is really easy to carry, and looks great both handheld and over the shoulder. The box rocks!
