a nice, subtle blue like bleu jean can be perfect in winter -- it makes me think of ice and snow, winter skies and scenes like this:

this one is 'l'hiver' by philippe ledoux, issued in 1968 and reissued in 1995. i see it every so often on ebay.

that's l'hiver, HB -- info is in my post above, but i wasn't very clear in my writing.

I agree that no color is ever really out of season anymore....ok.. maybe white (at least for me)
