What do you think of Dooney's latest?

I definitely agree with those that say these seem to be more for preteens. I would never have carried those in highschool and they are not even an option at this point. The bees are cute and I would consider buying them for a young relative but thats as far as it goes. I really think that D&B is alienating some of their clientel with some of these designs (hearts, tattoos, scribble).

I think I'm in the minority. If there is Dooney & Burke in London I would jump at it. I love the bees (like the short version of my name Bee, LOL).

But seriously I would have no shame in carrying and actually I'm confident that I can pull it off (though others probably will probably say stop being juvenile!). There are times when I'm sick of carrying my Hermes (no longer carrying one anymore), Prada, LV, etc.

My first thought was that Dooney must be looking to market to a much younger crowd - but I think they missed even that mark. I showed the pictures to my 13-year-old niece - she thought the pattern was silly looking.

I'm so happy that you can't buy Dooney here and I don't wonder why they never got into the European market not with those kind of bags. I looked at their all-weather-line and they looked o.k. but nothing special. For pre-teens they might be attractive but not to me.

I am a Dooney fan. I have 5 Dooneys- and I find I do get compliments from them.

I thought the bees were cute- but not my cuppa tea. But I wouldn't mind a wallet with them- or a key chain. Something small. But my niece told me she wouldn't mind this bag for Christmas!

I'm not a big fan of this Dooney pattern or any MC Dooney pattern really. I didn't mind the IT bags, but now the patterns are all so loud. They're all the rage here, I see moms and daughters with matching Dooneys all the time. I think I'm just tired of seeing them so much! I do like the leather Dooney bags, though.

I was actually just scoping out some Dooneys the other day while at the mall with a friend. He's a bodybuilder and completely fashion illiterate, he lives in sweats (we were at the mall because I pick out his clothes for him! he needed some new dress shirts). Anyway, we stumbled upon a case of new pattered Dooney bags and before I could say anything, he said: "Even I know that's ugly." It was quite amusing!
