MK bags is what brought me to tPF in the first place. My style has changed since then, but I used to love MK bags when I first started buying bags for sport. lol

This was the bag that brought me here (I think this is a tpfer's pic but I found it on google..)

Haha I have worked in the fashion industry for ten years! I think it's normal to be interested! Lol
So much suspicion on here!
You have worked for the fashion industry and its normal for people who previously involve with fashion being curios on stock and read all the articles to the brand that you don't like and not planning to buy the product whatsoever...???!I'm so confused here for example.. I know for sure that I don't like Smoked Salmon or anything Smoked so why I'm going to invest my precious time going and reading,searching..Library or Google and invest my time to research about the Smoked Salmon that I'm not intended to eat or wanted to see in my plate...and after reading and seeing picture I will feel horibly disgusted.....not suspicion it's more like a question❤️ have a great day❤️

I definitely agree with you, anyone who is in the business world needs to be aware of the market as a whole including companies who are doing really well and those who are struggling alongside focusing on the strengths and weaknesses of those companies. This means taking on a broader perspective, not just looking at what solely interests you.

Although I made a post earlier on in this thread about what I like, I was also attacked because I don't have MK up on a pedestal and don't personally view MK as the best brand and because it's not my definition of luxury. Don't take it personally or let it deter you from participating on this forum!

I totally get that you're trying to research the brand from an economic perspective, therefore it makes sense for you to come onto the MK forum and ask. I believe that is the intent of TPF - for us to gain insight (not just as a consumer) and ask for advice as well as discuss with those who share our love of handbags.

It's one thing to research but another to post in a fan forum so that's why people question the motives. It doesn't appear you are going to other brands in the fashion industry to ask them about why they stay loyal or like the brands they like so why just MK? I think we are all just curious

Interest is interest. No need to question that, IMO.
I am somewhat curious what the appeal is to MK bags as well, since I'm not drawn to them either.

I do imagine their accessible price point is appealing for many.

I guess I have an open mind and I appreciate a global perspective... It's ok if you can't understand.

+1, I agree. No harm in asking of your interest, same as you asking.

It's that what you call an open minded? I do have 80% LV in my collection but I never thought that I need to question MK forum why they are so into or Die hard to MK? It's Called Diversity that's why they are so many colors to chose from. for example... I like Pink I'm sure not everyone like or love pink. And I never saw you post anything from LV either...maybe I just missed out❤️ oh yeah I totally missed all your post from LV since I'm not into LV men's product❤️

Me? Spend too much time on TPF? Never! ;)

I also like to look around in the other forums. I think it's fun to see what is popular for other brands, even if it's not something I intend to purchase.

lol! I think that's MY bag! It's the Michael Kors Woodside. I am very fond of their Woodside colllection. Those braided straps look so pretty on your shoulder. Awesome bag. No one here ever comments on them when I post them. Glad someone else sees the beauty in them besides me, although I have never had any trouble selling them on ebay. They still can be found new for 398.00!!

There are many MK bags that are not accessible for everyone, in his luxury line that so many repeatedly deny even exists, such as the

MK TAYLOR Nile Crocodile and Snakeskin ( real Nile croco & snake) for over $9000.00. Being sold at Saks Fifth Avenue. I don't understand why this luxury line is ignored as if it doesn't exist?? Either folks aren't paying attention or their sunglasses are too dark! lol! Or maybe they never had the pleasure of shopping at Saks Fifth Avenue.

And if you go to this second link you can see many other bags from the Michael Kors Collection being sold at Saks for well over 1000.00.

Eek! Sorry, but I do not like that bag at all. Not for $200 or $2 million. :p

I've read about MK's higher end items here, but haven't felt the need to seek them out for myself. I'm glad people like his bags though! It would suck if everyone liked exactly the same thing. Oh what a boring world that would be. :peace:
