I don't have anything from Michael Kors. I am not interested in purchasing the products sold under his label. However I am very interested in the Michael Kors Phenomenon and what you guys say about these products. I see a lot of passion from many of you and j love reading your testimonies.
That's interesting....We are fun here in MK thread we treat each other like sisters, friend,we got our back most of the time. So if you are not interested buying anything from MK label, why are you so interested knowing what we like about the MK brand?

I agree, nothing wrong about learning and there doesn't seem to be any malice or I'll intent here.
Nope, not fableaux's fault if people try to read more into the question. For the most part, I think it reminds most MK lovers why they love the brand in the first place.
I really like MK's leather pieces because they still feel very nice but come at a very affordable price point. I don't feel guilty when I buy something and only use it for one or two seasons. For example, I love the Riley. I know it bears extreme likeness to LV's soft lock it. But, this design is not something I would carry every day. I would hate to pay thousands for a piece that I would only carry occasionally. The Riley is still very beautiful at only a fraction of the price and there are so many colors for me to pick from.
Also, I was able to try out so many designs to find out what style works for me. I've had a lot of MK bags come and go while trying to figure out what works for me. I always buy when they're on sale, use them a few times and the ones that don't work out sell very quickly on eBay.
A few things stand out to me in the bag arena....affordability. These bags are not too expensive and there are always dept store sales.......GREAT colors, neutral or bold, it's there.....and large selections of medium sized bags. Notice a lot of other brands either do mini bags or huge bags. One of the things that turned me off of Coach.
I read many of the forums (most of them without contributing). I have always been fascinated about how the MK brand has been turned into a mass market phenomenon in just a few years. I follow the stock pretty closely too which is interesting in this case: MK facing the problem of over exposure etc... lots of great articles online about that topic. Is that a satisfying answer? 😃

Exactly, at first they did start as a luxury designer and only catered to people who could afford their luxury designs that ranged in the thousands of dollars. When he started his MICHAEL Michael Kors Collection that allowed everyone to afford his bags, that is when the huge influx of new buyers from the middle class consumers began, and is why you now see him everywhere, on everyone. He may have screwed up by doing this. Time will only tell. So far, he is still on top.
Haha I have worked in the fashion industry for ten years! I think it's normal to be interested! Lol
