I often travel for work assignments and fashion shows so I need bags decent enough for lugging around the essentials during the day and something elegant for parties. I always either carry my Loewe Amazonia bag or BJ birkin which can be carried from the airport to the hotel to media photoshoots to parties. It looks elegant enough and not out of place. I also bring along an evening clutch with strap for some fuss-free action when dancing. Bianca gold studs with matching cuff by Gucci is going to be my next hot list item for fall/winter clutches.

I can't wait to get my hands on red combo black croc birkin and black croc diamond birkin. I'm planning to carry them for lunches and parties.

I usually use my Black Nylon Longchamp shoulder bag. It's practical so I can put whatever I need in there for the day. Plus, I like the dark color so it won't show dirt when I'm travelling and will still look great.

Plus it's cheap enough I don't have to worry about it (I bought it in France for around $80) as opposed to my other designer bags..

I don't travel too much, but when I do, I use whatever purse I feel in the mood for. I just use something else for the rest of my things. I'd rather take an extra bag than bring something I'm not really in the mood to carry.

LV Deauville for make-up & beauty supplies, a Gucci carry-on duffle & whatever handbag I feel like that day. I learned far too late to alwayspack a foldable or flat tote of some type to bring home impulse travel purchases.

whatever i feel like, life's too short to worry too much. before the luggage restrictions i'd bring a handbag and a tumi laptop case, and a tumi wheelie. sometimes it was a tumi laptop case, handbag and a bigger longchamp bag. now it's just a handbag that fits my laptop and the only two that fit that criteria are my balenciaga besace and my bv woven hobo. they're both a little too small but it's ok for a flight. i've never worried about putting stuff under the seat either, if it gets dirty you clean it. i've never had a bag stolen on a plane either. a duty free bag once but not a handbag.

I have an ancient Esprit saddle type bag, it has a long strap, and I got it in like 1987. It's nylon with some leather trim. It holds a ton, and looks great too.

Now I would use my Speedy...

Also if I am going to Disneyland, I would use a small camera type bag I got there on my last trip.

For local travel I just bring whatever I feel like, not too worried about it. But for overseas travel I always bring my Prada nylon messenger bag, I've had that bag for 5-6 years now and it's still in pretty good shape even with all the abuse I've put it through! :shame:

I carry non-designer...usually Banana Republic, Ken Cole, DKNY...sometimes Coach...

Just can't risk something happening to one of my more expensive bags...that would break my heart AND ruin my trip!!!

I carry a regular bag or bookbag, but I put my nice purse inside. I used to travel with travel stuff only but I realized that i look too much like a tourist. Designer, esp travelliing to a city, makes me blend in more as a local.
