Obviously because you choose to spend your money on illegal counterfeits you may not be able to recognize and authentic bag, but most of us can. I can assure the majority of people here DO carry authentic, people who support the counterfeit trade often don't stay long as we don't agre w/ that.
This website is FULL of handbag lovers, no matter the designer, but this Forum DOES NOT support counterfeit/faux. . . whatever you want to call them. Just because WE do not support this does not mean we are not "real" handbag lovers. . . it doesn't even make sense.:confused1:

It'd be like you going to s Mercedes Forum and telling them that you drive a Hyundai but put a Mercedes emblem on the front and that you assume none of them can afford the Mercedes either but they all fake it like you do.

I am a married housewife w/ 3 children and I PROUDLY carry whichever brand bag I want and that ONLY includes 100% authentic handbags, NOT counterfeit. Because YOU choose not to spend money on the real thing does not mean we feel the same way.

Today I'm wearing a lot of pink so I'm using my dooney and bourke pink barrel bag. It is not an "it" bag, but rather very subtle in the D&Bs. If you were afar you wouldn't even notice. I love it because it holds a lot and today it matches what I'm wearing. :love:

oh geezus. i'm not just going to add my 2 cents here, i'ma bounce them off your forehead! so here goes...

you support an industry that is illegal, so you are not a true bag lover. get that thru your head; people who support the counterfeit handbag industry ARE NOT true bag lovers! these people have a sense of entitlement when it comes to STATUS, that's all. it is NOT because oh, they just like the design, because if that were the case, they'll buy designer-inspired, which is legal. by carrying and freely admitting to carrying a counterfeit handbag, you're basically giving a f**k you to people who choose to spend sometimes large sums of money on a designer handbag of their choosing, and to the companies who have the "audacity" to charge as much as they do for their product. people who love bags know that there are tons of bags made by countless talented designers who don't charge premium prices. perhaps if you stick around and be open, you could meet members and discover labels that you had no idea existed. you can't afford an authentic chanel bag or that "it bag" people are in a frenzy over, fine. why not step outside the box without contributing to a business that is stealing intellectual property? why not try vintage? or indie:rochard: ? I myself have a few bags that are top quality and well-made from up-and-coming designers. try to discover what your PERSONAL style is instead of copying others. that's what counterfeiting is, COPYING! not original! corroded clones. you seem very self-righteous in this post and in a few others; if you haven't budged from that, then i feel sorry for you, because you're obviously heavily invested on how others view you. and those people don't even care, so get REAL.

sorry but I think that most people if not all members on TPF ONLY carry genuine handbags..yes you may not need to spend so much on a purse , if that's the case, why don't you just buy a cheaper brand that may have nice designs?
I think that your suspicions on members not 'fessing up' are unfounded and seriously, we really do not condone ppl using fake handbags - er why do you think we have so many 'authenticate this' threads on here, it is to AVOID fakes. We are not living a fraud, we are just genuine purse lovers who like to buy GENUINE products and please be reasonable and reread what you wrote? Also, please don't go around telling people that people on TPF are not for real and use fake bags??

a super cheap old navy tote - the type that looks like a pillowcase with two handles. I went out to the park today to walk some laps and just threw my ipod, cell and pochette inside.

today i'm taking my balenciaga magenta city for a ride with on my friend's birthday. we had fun... go fro nice dinner and wine, then heading to a club until 3 AM :p
i love balenciaga bags because i can use it as shoulder bag on dinner, and on the club when i move a lot, i can use the extra strap as sling bag :yahoo:
