Because by saying you presume they're only wishing they had a "real" handbag, and that yes, too, they have faux, your're implying that we lie about our possessions.
Have you even bothered to look at the Member's Showcase threads or photos of their handbgas? Obviously because you choose to spend your money on illegal counterfeits you may not be able to recognize and authentic bag, but most of us can. I can assure the majority of people here DO carry authentic, people who support the counterfeit trade often don't stay long as we don't agre w/ that.
This website is FULL of handbag lovers, no matter the designer, but this Forum DOES NOT support counterfeit/faux. . . whatever you want to call them. Just because WE do not support this does not mean we are not "real" handbag lovers. . . it doesn't even make sense.:confused1:

It'd be like you going to s Mercedes Forum and telling them that you drive a Hyundai but put a Mercedes emblem on the front and that you assume none of them can afford the Mercedes either but they all fake it like you do.
What kind os assinine thinking is that!?

I am a married housewife w/ 3 children and I PROUDLY carry whichever brand bag I want and that ONLY includes 100% authentic handbags, NOT counterfeit. Because YOU choose not to spend money on the real thing does not mean we feel the same way.

It's one thing if you carry a fake bag, which no one condones here, but it's another thing to assume and accuse the rest of us who are devoted bag lovers and connoisseurs to be doing the same and be lying on top of it?

i'm not a switcher like most of you. i find when i do that, i misplace important things like keys...they accidentally get left at the bottom of the bag i carried yesterday.

in answer to the question, today i'm carrying my normal everyday bag, my wonderful, versatile Gerard Darel Charlotte.

This thread inspired me to start changing my bags almost every day! :yahoo: I actually take 10-15 minutes every night to empty out my bag for the day and leave the stuff on the dining room table so I remember to go back upstairs and find a different bag to use...

...So I went RETRO today and carried my brown nylon Prada shopper. She is a beauty with 2 partitions (3 sections) and a velcro top closure with spaghetti shoulder straps and a structured bottom. But I feel very 1997-ish out on the street :sweatdrop: . Anyway, I love the bag but man, I miss cell phone pockets in these larger bags! That was a huge reminder I had a nearly 10 year old purse :laugh: .

OH MY GOODNESS. :wtf: How could you do it? Sorry if this offends you, but I COULD NOT LEAVE THE HOUSE if I wasn't carrying a genuine designer bag. I used to use Gap bags until I swapped jobs and now I work for PR in London, I can now afford any designer bag I could possibly want. I'm getting a new Dior Gaucho Saddle :yahoo: in red next week after seeing Liv Tyler, Lindsay Lohan, J-Lo and more celebs with the red one. I know some people can't afford genuine designer bags, but I can. I couldn't bear to walk around with a bag that looked like it was worth £700 etc when it was really £7 or something gross. Real designer bags last forever and only get more stylish the older they get - hence the fact that VINTAGE is sooooooooooooo expensive. Look at the Chanel 2.5 (or whatever it's called!) - I can't even bring myself to buy a designer bag on EBAY - I have to have a brand new one.

I have Balenciaga's / Mulberry's / Chloe's / Fendi's!

Next on my list: Dior Gaucho Saddle, and Chanel Quilted Chambon Reporter's Bag!
